How to Attend Buddy System Events: A Guide (ENG)

Thank you for your interest in our events! We truly appreciate it and always strive to provide the best experiences for you.

By popular request, we’ve put together a detailed guide on how to be part of our events. Please read it carefully to avoid any issues when attending.

Important Notice!

• If you wish to attend an event, you must first complete the registration and receive a QR code, which will be used for entry into the event location.
• The club’s management reserves the right to deny entry to any event without explanation or if university regulations are violated.

If you are a student/employee of ITMO University:

1. Go to the event registration page on the ITMO/EVENTS platform (you can find the link in the event announcement on our social media):

2. Log in to the ITMO/EVENTS platform using your ITMO ID;

3. After logging in, click the "Register" button on the event registration page;

4. The QR code for entry to the event will be sent to the email associated with your ITMO ID either a day before the event or on the day of the event.

If you are not a student/employee of ITMO University:

• If you are a Russian citizen:

Go to the event registration page on the ITMO/EVENTS platform (you can find the link in the event announcement on our social media);

1) Click the "Login" button at the top right of the page;

2) To log in, you must register for an ITMO ID: click the "Registration" button on the login page;

3) Enter your phone number and the code you will receive;

4) Enter your full name, birth date, create a password, and provide your email address. Confirm your email. This is the email where the QR codes for event entry will be sent! Ensure your details are correct!

5) After registering for the ITMO ID, register for the event and wait for confirmation and the QR code.

6) The QR code sent to your email will be used for entry into the university and the event venue. We recommend bringing an ID to confirm your identity!

• If you are not a Russian citizen:

1) See the instructions for registration for external guests with Russian citizenship, steps 1-6 are the same;

2) If you are a foreign citizen and not a student/employee of ITMO, you MUST send a scanned copy of the page of your passport with personal information and a photo, along with your affiliation (e.g., where you study or work) to the following email: buddy.system@itmo.ru

IMPORTANT: This must be done not later than 12 calendar days before the event date.

For example, if the event is on April 18, you must send your documents no earlier than April 6, 6:00 PM.

3) If you fail to send your documents or do so too late, we will not be able to allow you entry into the University!

4) If the event is not held inside a University building, but instead takes place at an external venue or outdoors, sending a passport scan by email is not required.
