How the muffler works

A jammer is an electronic device that intentionally transmits signals on the same frequencies used by cellular networks, GPS devices, bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and others.

  How does interference protection work?

  When there is an interruption in the communication signal of a suspected jammer in the vicinity of a vehicle, the GPS tracking equipment performs an analysis to determine that it is not a signal interruption, either due to loss of coverage or because the vehicle has passed through a tunnel.

  Once the equipment confirms that this is a signal generated by the jammer, it acts according to the previously configured protocol.  This protocol states that after a certain time or after a certain distance has been covered, the vehicle must be turned off, which prevents the device from being stolen.

  The use of anti-jamming has proven to be very helpful for users who have their discs stolen and have been able to recover them.
