How to unlock your Vehicle
Modern electronic key fobs offer more convenience and functions compared to manual keys. The batteries will eventually wear out and need to be replaced. If your Volvo keyfob only functions intermittently, your battery might be failing and you'll need to replace it in the near future.
You can replace the Volvo key fob batteries yourself by following couple of steps. Find a clean area to work on. Place all the tools you will need. Find the battery hatch, and make sure it is set to "open." Make use of a flathead screwdriver or coin or another similar tool to open the hatch to open. Next, carefully pry the battery from its socket by lifting it on the side closest to the key-ring loop. Make sure you wear rubber gloves to avoid damaging the contacts or the clips.
