  2. Click on "Record Keystroke Macro" or press Ctrl+Shift+R to start recording your macro.
  3. Perform the series of actions that you want to include in your macro. This can include typing, deleting, moving the cursor, and any other editing actions.
  4. Once you have completed the actions, go back to the "Tools" menu and click on "Stop Recording Macro" or press Ctrl+Shift+S to stop recording.
  5. To save your macro, go to the "Tools" menu and click on "Save Keystroke Macro" or press Ctrl+Shift+P. Choose a name for your macro and click "Save".
  6. To use your macro, go to the "Tools" menu and click on "Play Keystroke Macro" or press Ctrl+Shift+Q. Select the macro you want to run and click "Open".
  7. Editplus will now replay the recorded actions, performing the same series of actions as when you recorded the macro.

You can also assign a keyboard shortcut to your macro for quick access. To do this, go to the "Tools" menu, click on "Preferences", and then select "Keyboard". In the "Customize" section, find your macro in the list and click on it. Press the desired key combination for the shortcut and click "Assign". Click "OK" to save the changes.

Note: Macros in Editplus are stored in .epp files. You can share your macros with others by sharing the .epp file or by exporting and importing macros using the "Export Keystroke Macro" and "Import Keystroke Macro" options in the "Tools" menu.
