How to make a recovery compass in Minecraft

You can craft a recovery compass. To make one, you will need the following items:

- Echo Shard x8 - Compass x1

If you are lucky, you may find a regular compasses in a random chest. If not, you will need to craft one using iron ingots, redstone dust, and redstone dust. Echo Shards can be harder to locate because they can spawn inside chests of the Ancient City structures in Deep Dark.

Once you have the items you need, head to your crafting table, pop the compass in the middle with the eight Echo Shards surrounding it to craft the recovery compass. That's all. It should at most take some of the stress of trying to recover and find your items in case of disaster.
