How To Make A Minecraft Bedrock Server
To run a Minecraft server, you need to download its zip file from Minecraft's official website. It contains both Windows and Ubuntu server files. It can be unzipped with your default file browser or using software like WinZip, WinRar, or both.

Unlike a Java server, you don't have to install the Minecraft server before hosting it. So, once you have unzipped the server files, let's get started. Ubuntu
Each Linux OS comes with its own "terminal" app for running custom commands. Make sure your system has Ubuntu 18 installed. To launch the server, you can use the following command: LD_LIBRARY_PATH=. ./bedrock_server. Once you have successfully run the command, you are able to jump onto the server and play.
Windows
These steps are required to create a Minecraft Bedrock Windows server: 1. First, we have to exempt Minecraft form the UWP loopback restriction. It prevents UWP app (like Minecraft Bedrock), to connect to the local Server. To do this, you can open the command prompt and become an administrator by right-clicking the icon in the start menu or selecting the option from the sub-menu.
2. Then, enter the following command within the command prompt. CheckNetIsolation.exe LoopbackExempt -a -p=S-1-15-2-1958404141-86561845-1752920682-3514627264-368642714-62675701-733520436 You can close the command prompt after executing the command.
3. Next, open the unzipped server folder and double click or right-click and open the "bedrock_server.exe" file.
4. Windows will automatically launch its firewall when you open the server file. Make sure that both the private and public networks options are selected. Then click on the "allow access" button.
5. Once the Firewall accepts the exception, the server can start running in the command prompt.
Open System Port
Now that your OS is ready to invite Minecraft players, it's time for you to set up the router. Yes, this section will go into more technical details that the one before. Before anything else, we need to figure out the details about the platform that is hosting the Minecraft Bedrock server. To do this, open Command Prompt again and enter the following command:
ipconfig /all

Once you have reached the router's system port settings, you will need to search for and click on "add services" or "create a new" or another similar-named button. Next, enter these details into your router.
- Server/Service/Port No: Minecraft Server – Start port: 19132 – End port: 19132
- Service Type: UDP/TCP
Minecraft Bedrock's default Port ID is "19132". minecraft-servers.biz If there are columns that have "port" in their names, you can enter the same ID. You might also be required to enter an IP Address or IPv6 Address by the router. Your IP address is identical to the IPv4 Address you entered earlier via the command prompt. You only need the public IP address of the host to join any dedicated Minecraft Bedrock server. Port forwarding means that your public IP address won’t reveal any private information. You can find the same by opening Google and searching for "what is my IP".

Modifying the server's appearance is one of the best ways to make it unique. To do so, you can download and apply one of the best texture or resource packs by placing it in the "resource pack" folder of the server.

After they're done playing, you can close the game and leave your friends behind. But that's doesn't automatically save the progress. Instead, you will need to open the command prompt window where your server is running. Next, type "stop" into the command prompt and hit enter.
