Does anyone know how to download videos from thisvid.com

video downloadhelper plugin for Firefox or Chrome works fine. Youtube-dl also works fine.

also 9xbuddy on google it is easy to use copy the link of the video and dowload it . it works for lots of site

video downloadhelper works best for me. havent had much luck with download sites recently

In Chrome/Firefox you can right click -> inpsect. Go to the elements tab, CTRL+F for .mp4/ and you can find the direct url to the mp4 video and download it, no need for any third party downloader.

I use 9xbuddy for almost all of my video ripping, including ThisVid.

I recently started using Video Octopus and works really well so far.

I think this is the point! For a private video you'll have to be in the uploader's friends list. You can apply for being added (go to his profile!) but you never know if and when he will read your message. My own experience with private videos is 100% negative...

For me it works well most of the time, but unfortunately it won't work for every website

i think you cannot download private videos anymore on thisvid even if you're in the friends list
