You can also find out where port forward settings are for your router. 12. Add a new port forward. 13. Add a name to your ID or Service. 14. Change the Protocol to TCP/UDP 15. Change the ports from external to internal to 25565 This is an extremely important step. 16. Add your IPV4 address to your internal address. 17. Save and apply the above settings. If you have problems with port forwarding, then you should consult a tutorial about how to port forward for your router. 18. Your public IP address and ":25565" suffix can be used by your friends to join your server. They should be entering something like 123.4.56.78.25565. Do not share your public IP address, as this can put your internet security at stake. It should only be shared with your family, friends and trusted people.
