Amanda De Santa (born September 15, 1961) is the wife of Michael De Santa and mother of Tracey De Santa and Jimmy De Santa . Just like her husband, she is from the Midwest. She was first married to Michael in 1979, when she initially was a stripper. She gets angry with Michael a lot, similarly to how Michael gets angry with Jimmy a lot. She also despises Trevor Phillips .

Amanda De Santa is a character in the HD Universe who appears as a supporting character in Grand Theft Auto V . She is the wife of Michael and mother of Jimmy & Tracey . She is voiced by Vicki van Tassel .

Sometime in the late 1980s and early 1990s, Michael and Amanda began a relationship. At the time, she worked as a stripper and later a prostitute, with Michael using the gains from his heists to pay for plastic surgery. Eventually, the two get married and have two children: Tracey and Jimmy. Early on, Michael, Amanda, and their children had a seemingly good relationship; however, their relationship became strained in 2004 when Michael arranged for an "off-the-books plea deal" with FIB Agent Dave Norton after a heist gone wrong without consulting her, although he claims that it was to protect her and the children. The family moves to Rockford Hills under Agent Norton's watch. She openly cheats on Michael; however, Michael doesn't initially confront her about it as he cheats on her as well. She eventually became a financial burden on her husband through her shopping, leading Michael to return to a life of crime.

In Marriage Counseling , Michael finds her wearing a towel in the upstairs hallway and storms into their bedroom where he finds their tennis instructor Kyle Chavis in his underwear. In a rage, he chases Kyle down with his gardener's pickup truck and pulls his house down from the cliff, only to realize that it belonged to the mistress of Mexican gangster Martin Madrazo (this, among other things, lures Michael back into robbery). In The Good Husband , Amanda reluctantly calls on Michael for help when she is arrested for shoplifting (the player can choose whether or not to save her).

In Did Somebody Say Yoga? , he agrees to practice yoga with Amanda and her instructor Fabien LaRouche . Michael becomes irate when one of their yoga poses resembles a dry hump, attempts to push Fabien in the pool, lands in it himself, and Amanda tells Michael that she is leaving. Immediately after, he takes Jimmy to meet his drug dealer at Burger Shot ; Jimmy takes the opportunity to trick Michael into drinking purple drank , steal his car and leave him behind. Jimmy distorts the situation to Amanda, causing her to take him and Tracey and leave Michael completely alone in their Rockford Hills home.

Amanda and her children live with Fabien for a short while, but while Fabien is described as an "ideal sexual partner", Amanda quickly bores of his pretentious personality; also, Jimmy and Tracey grow to dislike Fabien. Sometime after The Paleto Score , Amanda calls Franklin Clinton , asking about her husband. Franklin suggests that she should call Michael; however, Amanda is still mad at him. A visit from Jimmy spurs Michael into winning Amanda back . He confronts them at a Bean Machine cafe, where Amanda is so dissatisfied with Fabien that she requests of Michael to "just hit him, please!". Michael knocks Fabien onto the floor with a nearby woman's laptop, and after Michael reclaims Tracey from Lazlow Jones , they reunite and agree to family therapy. After a "cathartic" screaming match in front of Dr. Friedlander , Amanda emerges ready to move back in with Michael. However, this is short-lived as she and Tracey narrowly survive an assassination attempt by Devin Weston and his Merryweather mercenaries, and move out of the house again for their own safety.

Should the player decide to kill Michael , she tells Franklin to stay away from her and her children, knowing that he was involved in her husband's death.

There's plenty to know about GTA 5's main characters, but let's start with the basics.
The truth is Grand Theft Auto 5 needs no introduction. It's a gargantuan game that, as one of the most profitable pieces of entertainment media in history, has had a seismic impact on the video game industry and media in general. With the ever-growing popularity of its multiplayer counterpart, GTA Online , and its planned existence on at least three different console generations (for now), it's clear the game isn't going anywhere.
But something else that isn't going anywhere is the game's single-player mode . Unfortunately for fans of the satiric crime saga, developer Rockstar Games never released any single-player DLC for the main game. Nevertheless, it's a standout story with plenty of biting criticism and colorful characters.
Updated September 1st, 2021 by Theodore Yurevitch: Now that Grand Theft Auto 5 is definitively coming to three different console generations and the story of Los Santos is settled, it's worth re-examining who counts as the main character.
Franklin is the youngest of the main protagonists in Grand Theft Auto 5 and arguably the most sympathetic.
Born sometime in 1988, he went through a rough childhood with an absent father and drug-addicted mother. At the start of the game, he is trying to make an honest living, but eventually, he joins up with the other two main characters and becomes a bank robber as well. It's a pessimistic turn of events, but this is Grand Theft Auto, after all—crime does pay.
Michael de Santa, born Michael Townley, is a semi-retired bank robber who is forced back into a life of crime at the start of the game. He may be the introductory character, but the jury is still out on whether he edges out the other two playable characters in a popularity contest. Maybe he's just bland enough to get the most votes.
Then again, he does have some air of mystery about him, considering he has a fake headstone that says he was born in 1965, while all his friends and family refer to him as 45, which would make his birth year in 1968.
The third and final main playable character in Grand Theft Auto 5 is Trevor Philips. In short, Trevor is a psychopath .
He was born in Canada, and though there is no canon birthdate for him, he claims he "grew up in five states, two countries, fourteen different homes, eight fathers, three care homes, two correctional facilities, one beautiful, damaged flower of a mother."
Amanda de Santa, or Amanda Townley as she was known before Michael's dealings with the FIB got the entire family thrown into witness protection, isn't a playable character, but she's still an important one.
She's Michael's wife, the mother of his two children, and is a key figure for several of the game's missions. Eventually, though, she and Michael call it quits and separate, which is probably for the best—it does not appear to be a happy marriage.
The younger of Michael's two children, Jimmy is a 20-year old homebody who seemingly likes to play video games more than anything else. He's rather lazy and rude, but with parents like Michael and Amanda, it makes sense why he grew up so to be so dysfunctional.
As the game progresses, he makes some attempts to get his act together at least.
Tracey, born in 1991, is the older of Michael's two children and can often be found arguing with her family or complaining about her brother while in the de Santa household. If she isn't doing that, there is a good chance she is preoccupied with watching television or tanning by the pool.
Like most of the characters in Grand Theft Auto 5, she is rude and abrasive, but Michael clearly has a soft spot for her and can sometimes be prompted to give her some money.
Lester Crest is a key figure in your criminal enterprises throughout Grand Theft Auto 5. Not only is he the gang's go-to hacker, but he also does most of the planning and research for the actual heists you'll commit.
He's a chatty guy, but can otherwise be a mysterious figure. His age is never directly stated but it is, instead, insinuated that he lies about it on Lifeinvader, the in-game social media app.
Lamar Davis is Franklin's best friend and serves as one of the main mission givers for Franklin early on in the game.
He's a jovial guy in comparison to Franklin's relatively stoic demeanor. He is also extremely tall, which Franklin will frequently comment on. Best of all, he introduces you to Chop, his loyal (and loveable) rottweiler.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is full of bad guys, but Devin Weston is at the tippy-top of that list. He's extremely rich and runs various businesses, but makes life pretty difficult for your favorite protagonists.
Of course, "difficult" might be an understatement since Weston does send a small army of Merryweather soldiers to Michael's home to murder his wife and daughter in his quest for revenge. He is the main antagonist throughout the game until he is ultimately killed by Michael, Franklin, and Trevor.
Devin Weston's partner in crime (quite literally) is a FIB agent and the game's secondary antagonist. He joined the FIB (Federal Investigation Bureau) in 1993, but has also long been on Devin's payroll. Throughout the game, he has the three others carry out plenty of illegal tasks to avoid getting his own hands dirty, but it doesn't save him in the end. Ultimately, like Weston, he bites the dust and stays 38 forevermore.
Grand Theft Auto 5 was a bold step for AAA video games with the way it featured three playable protagonists. But even better than Michael, Franklin, or Trevor is Chop.
You can briefly play as him, and later, he'll follow you as a loyal companion. He is technically Lamar's dog but spends most of the game living with Franklin. He's a good boy!

Amanda De Santa appears as a Major Character and Companion in Grand Theft Auto V.
Amanda De Santa is Michael 's wife, and the mother of Jimmy and Tracey . Her relationship with her husband is difficult, the two barely tolerating each other.
Amanda was working as a stripper and possibly a prostitute when she first met Michael Townley in a strip club owned by her mother. They began dating, got married, and then had two children together.
During that time, Michael led a career of bank-robbing alongside Trevor and Brad Snider . Fearing for his family's safety, in 2004 Michael made a deal with corrupt FIB agent Dave Norton to sell out his crew during a robbery , fake his death and then walk out a free man.
Living their new life in Los Santos, the relationship between Amanda and Michael becomes very sour, the two barely tolerating each other. Despite this, she remained faithful to Michael until she caught him having sex with a stripper, leading to her cheating as an act of revenge on Michael with many different men.
