Dude. You don't need to marry. Just adopt a child. He would be grateful that you gave him a nice life.
Assuming you can afford it and your country allows single parent adoption. A lot of places require you to be married to adopt.
Alternatively, get a dog/cat/other pet, who will also be grateful for a nice home.
Sadly, many adopted kids don't feel that way, but it's kinda understandable.
If you tell them early, they'll be fine with it until puberty when children use every insignificant detail against their parents, so they may say something like, "YOU'RE NOT EVEN MY REAL FAMILY, SO DON'T TELL ME ___ ___ ___" or something like that. Also you run the risk of them eventually hating the fact they are adopted or "different" from their friends at that age. Think Nami from One Piece's tantrums as a kid, although she used that at very young and not as a teen, but it still stands.
If you tell them later in life, you run into the risk of them getting depressed or getting angry you never told them. They might start having an identity crisis and question tons of their actions and stuff. Probably most common scenario for Hollywood movies' adopted children.
I was gonna use Nina Fortner from Monster as an example of this going right because she really was grateful to them, but she kinda reclaimed her memories, so it's a mix of both where she didn't know for a while, but now she knows that she knew, so I didn't know which category I should place her in.
But there are cases where it goes perfectly are rare. The cases where it goes 100% bad are rare, too. Like everything, most are in the middle, and it can be really painful telling your child/learning from your parents. But know that your adopted parents care about you- it means little that you aren't of them by blood. And that is the same for parents, too. Your children are yours. It doesn't matter that their blood parents did not raise them.
A little lesson from Jojolion: It's your relationships, bonds, and memories that make you who you are, and while blood connections are important, it's only because you should make those mentioned bonds with them.
