Company Description Suited Interior Design is a specialist interior design studio focused on creating bespoke, memorable experiences for today’s luxury hotel and resort guests. The studio crafts narrative-driven interiors that highlight each property’s character and position it as a distinctive destination.
Role Description This is a full-time, remote Senior Interior Designer role focused on hotel and restaurant projects. The Senior Interior Designer will lead concept development, space planning, and interior design for hospitality environments, translating brand narratives into cohesive design schemes. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing design presentations, developing FF&E palettes, coordinating construction drawings, and collaborating with architects, consultants, and suppliers. The role involves managing project timelines, reviewing design details for buildability, and ensuring that all design solutions meet functional, aesthetic, and budget requirements. The designer will also participate in client meetings, provide expert design guidance, and maintain clear documentation throughout all project phases.
Qualifications
* Strong hospitality-focused Interior Design skills, including concept development and guest experience–oriented design.
* Proficiency in Space Planning to optimize guest flow, operational efficiency, and the functional layout of hotel and restaurant areas.
* Solid understanding of Architecture and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to integrate interior concepts with overall building design.
* Ability to develop and review detailed Construction Drawings and technical documentation to ensure accurate implementation on site.
* Expertise in FF&E selection, specification, and documentation, with an emphasis on durability, sustainability, and luxury brand alignment.
* Advanced skills in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite) and standard office tools.
* Demonstrated experience managing hospitality design projects from concept through completion, preferably in hotels or restaurants.
* Excellent communication, remote collaboration, and client presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and time management.
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
* Knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry best practices for international hospitality projects.
