The original post is a massive over generalization. There are plenty of women who are very attractive and yet have warm and kind personalities.
With that being stipulated, there are indeed some women out there who are both hot and intolerably bitchy. If a woman primarily derives her sense of self from what she sees in the mirror, and she happens to be very attractive, then this can give her a sense of superiority over less attractive people.
At the same time, deep down we all know how fickle looks can be, and not just because we all age sooner or later. Even in our prime, those people who are mainly interested in courting or befriending us because of our visual appearances are often shallow and insincere. Being very attractive can hence sometimes be an impediment to forming meaningful relationships with others. This makes women who rely on their good looks for their self worth feel very insecure. And so they overcompensate for this sense of insecurity by overindulging their superiority complex.
There is another reason why you may perceive hot women as being especially bitchy: many attractive women are not outright mean, but they are deliberately aloof or reserved. If you were constantly being approached, cat called or hit on you would eventually become wary of engaging strangers too readily before you have a better sense of what their agenda is. You cannot fault attractive women for being cautious.

Well it is unfortunate that there are so many very mentally disturbed women all over the place these days which most of them are gay and bi to begin with, and most of them are real feminists to. Just men haters that is what most of these women are nowadays since this is why many of us good single men can't find a normal decent woman anymore, and their manners really suck altogether which certainly matches their personality too. And it has become so very dangerous today for many of us men to try too start a normal conversation with one of these very pathetic loser women since they are looking to nail us men with sexual harassment, even though we didn't do anything wrong to begin with. No wonder why so many of us good men are still single today because of these type of women that are really to blame in the first place. And most of the women back in the old days were the very best of all and real ladies as well compared to whatever you want to call them today. Women in the past without a doubt really did put these women today to real shame since they were the very opposite. It is real sad that they are gone though.
Maybe they just don't like guys who refer to them as bitches?

no offense to you Boston folks, but.....warmer cities like Los Angeles, Miami, Phoenix, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Dallas, et al tend to have more women as hot and warm as the climate. ....so many 'big fish' the pond becomes an ocean and they really cant afford to carry that 'I am hot and I know it' attitude that big fish in little ponds like Denver or Minneapolis or Cleveland would have.
Just my observations in life...half-way attractive women in other (smaller, colder climate) cities just seem to think they are all that & a bag of chips. But in environments where a pretty face and nice figure can be dime/dozen all the sudden you see change in attitude for the better.
Competition ya know...supply & demand....towns where there isn't much supply and high demand....you get swollen egos who over-value their looks.

There are both people that feel that their looks entitle them to better treatment and see themselves as better. To be fair, they probably did not start this way, but as more and more people validated this position they began to believe it themselves.

A LOT of pretty girls will diss a good man who is stable, kind, and will treat her right or "friendzone" him to keep him on the back burner. He spoils me by making me coffee every morning and bringing it to me in bed. I take care of him. I rub his feet at night. I've paid our bills when he lost his job. He supported me when I lost mine. He's been through some really dark times with me. I was there for him when he lost his granddaughter in a car accident. We might not have money to go out every night or travel the world but we take care of each other. I love him and he loves me.
