As I was shooting with Ilford HP5+ 400 in broad daylight with my pinhole camera, I didn't really have enough exposure time. I remember this was less than 3 sec and I had to use my fingers to open and close the pinhole just like the action of a shutter. Unfortunately, my fingers were not fast enough, you could see a part of index finger at the lower right hand corner of the frame. I thought about cropping it out. But in the end, I wanted to leave it there for the realism.

...Their backsides were just as stunning. Lush petals of yellow flowers profusely sprayed over the half-circular arc of the headdresses. They appeared like frangipani petals to me especially that they seemed to wilt slightly under the noontime sun. However, the strong light can be divine as it played boldly on the bare shoulder curves of the dancers, highlighting the elegance, if not the sultriness of the female form. When a dancer began toying with her extra-long beaded necklace which extended right down to her knees, my camera was quick to oblige.

Learning/learnt a new classical piece over the last couple of days. Short a photo, so I grabbed this of the fingering of one small bit.

I've been learning, then practising Lagrima, a classical guitar piece written by Francisco Tarrega. There's a point at which I diverge wildly from every other guitarist I've seen playing this; I decided that I liked the sound of the notes fingered lower down the neck, and ringing slightly against the open high e a couple of times. That involves a slightly awkwardly-stretched hand position, but I consider it worth it. I think that's my rock/80s metal/Eric Johnson influences coming in. ;)
