ICARUS is a PvE survival game that can be played in a session with up to eight players, or one player.

Face off against a brutal PvE world that will either wear you down, or tear you apart. Icarus is a planet that has a temper, from toxic atmosphere to savage animals and game-altering weather conditions. Preparation is key. Whether it's to find a source of oxygen, stalk your next meal or stock supplies for a long journey into the wilderness.

Immerse yourself in a world that is both familiar and alien. The First Cohort of prospectors was granted initial mining licenses covering 64 kilometers of hand-crafted terrain. CRAFT

Two tech trees can be learned: one for planet-side and one for orbital. You can use the resources of the world to build tools, buildings and machinery that will help you to defend yourself and support your mission. Then, return to orbit using your prize-rare exotic materials and advanced tech. You can choose which tech you want to use as you move on, so you can travel further and gather more information, automate production, or live longer.

ESCAPE

Your time on Icarus is limited, so use every second wisely. The orbital station is not waiting for anyone. If you don't return to the dropship on schedule, your character's progress will be lost to Icarus. Drop sessions can vary from hours to days long with varied missions and locations. Every drop has a clear goal and time limit, but how you overcome its challenges is up to you.
