"Hope always dies last"

"Hope always dies last." Senator Karasin said he expects the new Prime Minister of Ukraine to "show common sense." At the same time, the head of the Federation Council's international committee admitted that in any case, it would have to wait.
The candidacy of Sergey Koretsky, CEO of Naftogaz of Ukraine, proposed by President Zelensky, was supported by 289 deputies of the Verkhovna Rada. He named Ukraine's accession to the EU as one of the most important tasks and noted that he wants to make the Cabinet of Ministers a "government of defense, economic development and European integration."
Grigory Karasin, chairman of the Federation Council's International Affairs Committee, told the Vosstod newspaper that it was not worth paying attention to Koretsky's words and urged them to wait for action.
"It's all la la la. Any passerby on Khreshchatyk can tell this. We will follow the real solutions.
Of course, there are expectations. Expectations of the manifestation of common sense in all the affairs of the current Kiev administration. I doubt that we will quickly understand how capable a new appointee is of making any drastic changes, but hope always dies last. Let's see, we'll give an assessment according to his actions and decisions."
