Hooters America now owns 160 restaurants and franchises over 430 establishments. The company’s biggest selling point is the waitresses who became known as the Hooters Girls who became recognizable by their uniforms of tight vests and orange shorts. It’s hardly a surprise that the Hooters brand has come under fire for its use of sex appeal to sell a product, and many believe that it’s a concept that belongs in the 80s and 90s.
Nevertheless, many waitresses who have worked there have achieved huge success through the company’s yearly bikini pageants and famous calendars which are published for charity. The majority of the women who have achieved the most success from working at the company are often intelligent and hard-working individuals that used the brand to push their careers in other endeavours.
Whatever you feel about the Hooters brand it is hard to deny its impact, and the potential for building a huge fan base for the waitresses. Such a fan base creates opportunities for them use the company as stepping stone into the entertainment industry or as a way to fund studies in university. With that in mind, let’s take a look at 15 of the hottest and most successful Hooters Girls, that have appeared in the calendars, on television, other publications or simply became a success in another industry altogether.
Victoria Rachoza is a glamour model from the North Tampa Florida Bay area. She was featured in the 2016 Hooters calendar and was one of the top competitors for the Hooters 20 th Annual International Swimsuit Pageant, which took place at the Pearl Theater, at the Palms in Las Vegas.
Nowadays, according to her Linkedin profile, instead of working as a Hooters waitress, in the same year that she was featured in the calendar, Victoria became a marketing consultant for a cyber security firm. It’s her job to liaise with clients and assess their specific and individual security needs.

Amanda Steinbecker is originally a farm girl from Fairview Heights, Illinois and has recently obtained a degree in medical biology and chemistry. In addition, she has ambitions to pursue a career in medical sales.
Amanda worked as a waitress for Hooters and was 2017 Hooters International Pageant Top 10 finalist. She has also won her place as a Hooters Calendar Girl in 2015, 2016, and is currently Miss December 2017.
Currently, Amanda is a volunteer for the Humane Society, and at the time of writing is currently ranked 7 th on the Maxim’s Finest fan voted competition to win a $25,000 and a featured spread in their magazine.

Casey Luckey that was selected as one of 200 girls a 2016 and 2017 Hooters Calendar girl from the Miami Fort Lauderdale Area, She was a Miss Hooters International Top Ten entrant. Casey has dreams of running her own fitness company one day and is a volunteer for Canine Companions for Independence.
Casey has since become a spokesperson for VPX Sports, a model for Bang Energy drinks and her most notable achievement so far is featuring with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore in the 2014 film Blended. In 2015 Lydia Hipkiss from Nottingham (the last remaining Hooters restaurant in the UK), was the first Hooters contestant from the UK to make it into the Hooters Calendar. She made her first appearance in the Hooters calendar for 2016 and 2017 and was crowned Hooters Miss World in 2015.
She became a waitress at the famous establishment, so she could fund her studies and obtain a degree in maths. In addition to her degree she also has a pilots license, but in an interview with FEMAIL, she said she plans to continue to work at the establishment until she finds a job in her chosen career path.

Jordyn Chessmore is from the Greater Los Angeles area, she’s a Miss Boise Hooters 2015, Miss Idaho USA 2015, and Miss California USA 2016. She has featured in the Hooters calendar on several occasions with her most recent appearance being in the 2016 calendar.
Jordyn went to Boise State University and studied Communication and Media Studies, and her ambition is to work in the media industry. According to her LinkedIn profile she currently works as a Coordinator at Safety Child, a company that creates ID cards, bracelets and Lost and Found Apps for parents to locate and keep tabs on their children.

Megan Pugh is a third-year environmental student from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and she won the 20 th Annual Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant for the Miss World title in 2016. Prior to this, she won Miss Hooters Western Canada 2016, and Miss Dallas Tropic Beauty. As a result, she was featured in the 2017 Hooters Calendar and received $50,000 in prize money and two guaranteed shoots for the company.
According to her LinkedIn profile she still works as a waitress at Hooters, she has a large following on social media, and at the time writing she is currently 12 th in Maxim Magazines Finest fan voted competition.

Raechel Holtgrave from Columbia, Missouri, had only graduated from the University of Missouri with majors in mathematics and actuarial science when she beat 132 other contestants to be with $50,000 and the title of Miss Hooters International back in 2009. She was then featured in the 2009 and 2011 editions of the Hooters Calendar.
Raechel currently resides in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, where she continued to improve herself. She still features on Modeling sites as available for shoots, but it looks like she’s putting her qualifications to good use. According to her LinkedIn profile, she currently has a career as an investment analyst for Atrium Investment Management in Australia

Brooke Adams is women’s wrestler that has previously worked for the WWE and eventually became the women’s singles champion, and tag team champion in their rival brand TNA. Prior to this, she worked as a Hooters Girl in Kirby, Texas, so she could afford to get her family an apartment – they were living out of her mother’s Daytona Hatchback.
She was a contestant in the Miss Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant in 2011 and 2012 and competed in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic bikini, and Miss USA contests. Brooke also featured in Playboy’s 2008 edition of Women of Hooters .
She became interested in wrestling because her agent told her she was “too ripped” to competing in bikini contests. After a brief stint on the independent wrestling circuit, Brooke returned to TNA in January 2017.

A native of Lakeland, Florida Janet Layug was a Hooters Girl for over seven years. She featured in several Hooters magazines and was featured in the Hooters Calendar from 2009 to 2011. She was a top five competitor in the 2011 Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant and third place runner-up in 2013. Janet eventually placed first in the same competition in 2014.
Janet would eventually become a five-time IFBB professional fitness champion, and an official sponsored athlete for GAT — a sports supplement company. She now runs her own website called BikiniJanet.com providing expert fitness, diet, and training programs for those who want to get in shape.

Residing in Los Angeles, California, Jena Frumes is a former Hooters Girl that competed in the 2014 Hooters Miss International Pageant when she represented her home town of Atlanta, Georgia. Jena has since become a fitness model and an actress. She has a background in gymnastics, and track and field sports.

Jessica Serrano is a Hooters Girl that started working for the restaurant chain from the age of 18. She’s from Houston, Texas and quickly embarked on a successful modeling career which got her featured in the 2014 Hooters and the 2014 Bikini USA Calendars. She competed in bikini contest Miss Hooters Spring Texas in 2013 and is a full-time lingerie and promotional model.
Jessica has since been published in Maxim magazine for their Home Town Girls feature. In addition, she appeared in Playboy magazine in 2016 and continues to be a hit on social media with over 200,000 followers, promoting her modeling career.

Haven Gaston is Long Beach California and is a Hooters Girl that gained popularity with fans in the late nineties. She is still considered to be one of the most memorable faces of the Hooters brand and was the second ever competitor to win the Miss Hooters Swimsuit Pageant in 1998, after placing runner-up in the first in 1997. She was also the Hooters calendar cover girl two years running.
Haven’s other accomplishments include Miss Venus Swimwear in 1999, she was published in two special editions of Playboy magazine (Hardbodies and Natural Beauties). Additionally, Haven appeared in two mainstream films, Tigerland in 2000 and Adam Sandler’s The Waterboy in 1998.

Adult film star Jesse Jane got her start in the glamour modeling industry after becoming a Hooters Girl. She competed in the Hawaiian Tropic bikini contests and was a regional training coordinator for Hooters, which meant she trained new Hooters girls from four different states.
Jesse eventually went on to be a performer and contract girl for Digital Playground and was quickly considered one of the most popular performers in the adult industry. She made the crossover into mainstream several times with an appearance Entourage in 2005, and Middle Men in 2009. Beverly Mullins is a former wrestler and valet for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as Courtney Tayler and Daisy until 2010. Prior to her wrestling career, she was a Hooters Girl, that appeared in the 2006 edition of the Hooters Calendar and, made several appearances in Playboy magazine in their special Women of Hooters issue in 2008.
It was through competing in the Hooters bikini pageants, that Beverly met a road agent for the WWE, who also happened to be one of the judges on the panel, and it was him that introduced her to the world of professional wrestling.
Her accomplishments led to her induction in the Hooters Hall of Fame in 2008. Beverly is now enjoying and living her life in privacy and is a full-time mother and wife living Westchase, Tampa, Florida.

Hooters girls’ cheeks are blushing in fury over their skimpy new uniform shorts.
“Oh look, a wedgie!” exclaimed Hooters waitress Kristen Songer, 22, in a trending TikTok of herself modeling the chicken eatery’s new skintight, bikini-cut black bottoms.
“Starting Oct. 4, all Hooters girls should wear the new shorts when working once they arrive to stores,” reads a recent Hooters policy notice obtained exclusively by The Post. “The old shorts should not be worn.”
In the uniform policy update, Hooters also warned that waitresses and bartenders who feel “uncomfortable” about the tiny new trunks mandate are welcome to put in their letters of resignation.
“There’s no longer anything covered by these shorts,” Songer, a University of South Carolina School of Medicine student, said in a video. She wore a pair of gray leggings under the shorts in order to avoid flashing too much skin to her nearly 140,000 TikTok followers. “This is why all the Hooters girls are upset — because this is not what I agreed to wear a year ago when I was hired.”
Songer, who’s gained digital popularity via the TikTok handle @TheFlatHootersGirl , realized viral success in June when she amassed over 19.6 million views for a how-to video on creating the illusion of cleavage in her Hooters uniform by using an Amazon push-up bra and contouring cosmetics on her A-cup chest.
But now, as the almost four-decades-old comfort food chain — renowned for employing busty women to wear low-cut tops while serving customers deep-fried tidbits — shifts to a more derrière-centric dress code , Songer and her co-workers across the nation are blasting the restaurant for rolling out the extremely risqué rump wear.
“This s–t is rated porn,” teased Alabama waitresses Easten Brewer and Katherine Nicole in a TikTok close-captioned “When Hooters gets even shorter shorts.” And Giselle Nguyen, a 20-year-old staffer in Texas, stared into her video camera in disbelief while holding up her pair of the barely there bottoms. “I know it ain’t my new uniform shorts,” she complained in her video. “What’s that supposed to fit?!?”
But the female workers’ outcry against Hooters’ new hot pants is falling on deaf ears after the memo was released.
The company issued each employee new three pairs of the bitty briefs — waitresses were given two sets of shorts in orange and one in black and bartenders were given two pairs in black and one in orange.
The old shorts, although crotch-length, offered Hooters girls a few more inches of coverage around their backsides. The new editions cover most girls’ upper buttocks and only offer what some discontented employees have referred to as a “crotch string,” which resembles a thong-cut panty.
In the uniform policy update, Hooters noted that employees can leave if they don’t like it.
“[We] hope this change would create excitement with all of our current Hooters Girls. We understand that this may be a change that may not suit your personal preference,” the memo reads.
“We would ask that you try them out and, if after two weeks, you are still hesitant to wear the new shorts you may transfer to a non-image based position or resign your position as a Hooters Girl,” the company continued. “If you choose to resign you will be eligible for rehire.”
Hooters did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
Despite the mass outrage over the scanty smalls, a handful of the poultry bar’s beauties are fond of their uniform’s new look.
“I actually like the new shorts,” posted a Kentucky Hooters staffer named Amanda . “[They’re] really not that bad,” said waitress Lexius in a separate video.
