No heating Holes in bedsheets, look like bitten by a rat. I accidentally walked into someone else's room using my key! The card key doesn't work in my room, so got a master key opening every room!
Room Tip: Aviod this place!

The location of this hotel is great, a very short walk away from the Metro and Notre Dame. I was disappointed on arrival that they didn’t have a room available for all 4 or us, as was booked but they found us 2 rooms (1 for 3 and 1 for 1) this meant our daughter had to stay alone, not ideal but ok, she was on the same floor. Breakfast was adequate but not great. Rooms were clean and maid service every day. For the price it was OK and no major issues but I did expect better and when you book a room for 4 I expect a room for 4 Location outweighs any issues

due to a serious accident 3 weeks before our stay, where knee surgery was the only option. we contacted the hotel to move our booking to another date (for which we were happy to pay extra) or to cancel the booking. But the Home Latin hotel did not want to cooperate with us. Unfortunately we were unable to continue our friends trip to Paris and we lost the money we had already paid for the hotel. Service or humanity was nowhere to be seen, TERRIBLE!

We stayed in that hotel for 3 days and we had NO SERVICE OF FLOWING WATER IN THE BATHROOM during those three days. We told the receptionist every day, they said "they would be on it" but when we came back from a long day walking under the summer sun and wishing for a shower, we found that no solution had been given. It was impossible to get shaved or to brush your theeth properly, and taking a shower was almost impossible. The rooms were hot due to the lack of conditioned air and the batrhroom for the family room was tiny. The only good thing was its location. It's a shame I didn't go to the hotel in Rue Les Carmes where my brother stayed with no complains. Wen we left we were told that the manager would give us some kind of explanation, but it's been more than 2 weeks (and one reminder mail) with no answer. Awful. Potential customers, look for anything better. …

We stayed here for 5 nights, in a double room and the junior suite. Pluses: - Amazing location very close to Notre Dame, walkable to restaurants, sights, and Metro stops - Very kind staff - Rooms have been recently updated, and are surprisingly nice for this price point - Very comfy beds - Lots of outlets - Free, fast wifi - In-room refrigerators and kettles Minuses - A room facing Rue Sommerard can be noisy- there is a building across the street that loads noisy glass, etc., at 6am - No free breakfast - The cheaper priced Triple Room is far nicer than the more expensive junior suite. The junior suite had 2 ensuites, but the single room was dark, noisy, and hot. The triple is a bright, sunny room with a terrace! Overall, recommend for a budget trip.

We had our travel plan interrupted by the pandemic and were unable to travel to Paris as all flights were cancelled. We made several email contacts with the hotel, but only with the option of rescheduling the reservation. But with travel restrictions we were unable to resume travel. We are now requesting a refund of the reservation amount, but we have not received any response from emails.

Old hotel, bathroom was dirty and badly kept, cleaning service did a poor job, room was next to the lift, so hardly slept at all, all night, with the lift opening and closing, in addition to people slamming their doors. The only thing this hotel has going for it, is the location, which is very conveniently placed in walking distance to various tourist attractions.

Great location and room for a solo traveler, could see Notre Dame from my room, also only a few blocks for my morning walk to Bertrands, I stayed there twice in the same trip. I left for Koln for a few days and came back, my second room had an extra twin bed which was nice to put my things on. The top floor was a little hard to get to especially being tall and having a heavy suitcase. I would stay here again.

Had a booking for May 2020, hotel said they would refund or reschedule, almost two years later they have not responded to any request (even those made via official means). When a friend visited last month and talked to reception about the situation, they said to write another email with all information and they will take care of it. It’s been 3 weeks, still no reply. Horrible, avoid at all costs.

Lighting of the room defective, and still so a full day later after promises of rapid action. Washbasin missing pieces, with same reactivity. Room not done the second day, just forgotten... Carpets with stains. And if you look at the ceiling of the bathroom just dont want to wash any more... Coffee & tea promised in the room (because of covid, we understand the fridge is empty) but nothing there. Iam used to this type and category of hotels in Paris and over Europe. Just a no go. Only positive is the location.
