Charming seaport town with friendly people, great food and very cool, relaxed but fun nightlife. The access to the ferry to Martha's Vineyard makes it a perfect location for daytrips over to the island. There is also the more upscale town of Falmouth within a very short driving distance to explore. Overall, a wonderful place to visit!

Woods Hole is a great spot to enjoy the Cape and Martha's Vineyard with some cost savings. The food is delicious, Pickle Jar Kitchen and Maison Villatte in Falmouth and Quicks Hole Taqueria and Jimmy's Classics in Woods Hole. The beaches are small, but really lovely. They are reserved for Woods Hole residents/visitors so they don't get over crowded.

Such a quaint little town. Our hotel was within walking distance to the ferry to take us to Martha’s Vineyard. Love Pie in the Sky restaurant for our coffee and dessert.
Will definitely be making a trip back there some day

I had never been there before and was surprised to find it survives by a large marine reseach facilities.
Cute shingle housing and shacks examples from the traditional to the brutalist 60's
Good for a days explore while waiting for ferry.

The view from our room was beautiful, a straight shot to the harbor. The room was huge and very comfortable, the staff were helpful and kind, and the location is perfect - about a five minute walk to the restaurants in Woods Hole.

Excellent staff . Efficient shuttle service. Healthy walk to woods hole dinning

With Jackson Hole increasingly becoming a popular luxury vacation spot, it should come as no surprise that you'll find a Four Seasons here. This sprawling resort, enclosed within the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort complex in Teton Village, offers opportunities for golfing, hiking and whitewater rafting; plus, the slopes are just steps from the lobby doors. Back on resort grounds, recent guests highly recommend taking advantage of the outdoor whirlpools – a soak after a day on the ski trails is a great way to unwind – and the services offered at the in-house spa. Meanwhile, the hearty fare served at Westbank Grill will satisfy your appetite after an adventure-packed day. If you'd rather do dinner and a movie, cozy up in your down duvet in your guest room or suite, order room service and make a date with the room's smart TV, which streams music and movies. Previous guests said a stay here is pricey, but also noted the staff goes out of its way to make sure needs are met.
If you're not one for mammoth ski resorts or anything resembling a tent, then the boutique Hotel Jackson is your antidote. One of the newer hotels in Jackson Hole , Wyoming, Hotel Jackson entices travelers with its impeccable style, offering a contemporary take on traditional country decor. Instead of rooms decorated in traditional, rustic furnishings and beds draped in multicolored plaid blankets, expect polished wood lines and gray accents. Along with stylish interiors, standard rooms are filled with L'Occitane bath amenities, Bluetooth enabled clock radios, Nespresso espresso machines, 48-inch Samsung flat-screen TVs, soaking tubs and gas fireplaces. In addition to the well-equipped rooms, the hotel offers complimentary transportation around town (with the hotel's location in the heart of Jackson Hole, some guests found having a car unnecessary), ski valet and transportation to Teton Village during the winter season. The hotel is also home to FIGS restaurant, which serves Lebanese-Mediterranean fusion fare. Impressive amenities and excellent location aside, guests reserve a majority of their praise for the staff, who many said were both friendly and helpful.
Located about 5 miles north of Jackson, Wyoming , Amangani offers panoramic views of the nearby Snake River Valley and Teton Mountains. Recent guests said that the resort's name – meaning "peaceful home" in the language of the Shoshone – truly represents the atmosphere. Visitors claim that upon arriving at Amangani, any stress just melts away thanks to the friendly staff and the breathtaking surroundings. The decor here is reminiscent of an old ski lodge with exposed stone walls and Native American-inspired furnishings. Meanwhile, the resort's suites are spacious, boasting fireplaces and oversized bathrooms with deep soaking tubs. Amangani also features a variety of on-site amenities that boost its luxurious-yet-homey reputation, including a gourmet restaurant, a heated outdoor infinity pool, a library and a spa. The only complaints from past travelers had to do with the restaurant service and the accommodations, which some said looked a little worn.
If you're looking to immerse yourself in the history of Jackson Hole , stay here: This grand dame in downtown Jackson has welcomed visitors since 1941, and it still looks much like it did back when it first opened its doors. Rooms are decorated with local paintings, carvings and needlepoint pillows, while the furniture is reminiscent of a rustic mountain lodge. Guests love The Wort's traditional feel, but they also appreciate the more recent additions to the property, including free Wi-Fi service and a fitness center with Jacuzzi tubs. Though you won't be sleeping at the foot of the slopes, you'll have no trouble reaching the mountains thanks to The Wort's complimentary ski shuttle. Back at the hotel, you can thaw out with a drink at the Silver Dollar Bar or a hot and hearty meal at the Silver Dollar Grill. Recent guests say a stay will cost you a pretty penny, but the customer service doesn't disappoint. Keep in mind that members of the I Prefer Hotel Rewards program can earn and redeem points by choosing to stay here.
Hotel Terra Jackson Hole, A Noble House Resort
Sitting at the base of Teton Village's slopes, Hotel Terra Jackson Hole offers easy access to the region's most popular activities, including skiing, hiking and mountain biking. But there are several reasons why guests choose this hotel over other properties within the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort area. First, there are the spacious and bright guest rooms with green and blue accents, heated floors, gas fireplaces and flat-screen TVs. (Some guests remark that rooms here can cost a pretty penny, but most agree that the combination of in-house amenities and the dramatic mountain views validate the price.) Then there are the staff members, who win guests over with their friendly and helpful demeanors. And finally, there's Hotel Terra's eco-friendliness: The property earned its LEED-silver certification thanks to its efforts to save water and improve energy efficiency. Sustainable practices are used throughout the property, from the guest rooms to the Italian kitchen at the on-site Il Villaggio Osteria restaurant and from the infinity pool to the Chill Spa.

Frequent visitors are loyal to the Teton Mountain Lodge & Spa for a number of reasons. For some, it's the simple style of the furnishings and the hints of local culture found in each of the rooms (along with the availability of private fireplaces, full kitchens and whirlpool tubs). For others, it's the luxurious amenities like the expansive indoor and outdoor pools, the full-service SpaTerre and the tasty cuisine served at Spur, the lodge's recently remodeled dining establishment. But there's one thing that almost every guest agrees upon: The lodge's proximity to ski slopes and hiking trails (the hotel is located within the Jackson Hole Mountain complex ) – not to mention its views of the Teton Mountains – make it a great home base for adventure.

And to get a true taste of Jackson Hole , sample the menu items at the Gamefish Restaurant, where local specialties like the buffalo filet mignon and the beef, buffalo and elk chili will satisfy even the most discerning carnivore. Recent guests say that the Snake River Lodge has great amenities and customer service, but guests weren't as fond of the steep resort fee.
The Rusty Parrot Lodge is closed indefinitely due to a fire that occurred on 11/18/2019.
Sitting on the northwest edge of Jackson , Wyoming, The Rusty Parrot Lodge creates a mountain-lodge atmosphere with its cozy leather furniture, crackling stone fireplaces and animal motifs throughout. Meanwhile, the mountain-inspired cuisine served at the award-winning Wild Sage restaurant and the soothing body treatments offered at the Body Sage Spa add an additional boost of luxury to this already popular hotel.

And as for the lodgings themselves, most guests love having their own cabins, which house wood-burning fireplaces and wireless internet access, as well as private patios or balconies.
