Yes, it’s true we’re engaging in many wars, our economy has fallen, and our country is as divided as it has ever been since Lincoln…. but we still have one thing good goin’ for us – miniskirts.
This time we’re looking at minis on steps and stairs. Long a source of potential embarrassment to girls and a source of joy for boys, the stairs and bleachers at school were both a blessing and curse during the Age of the Mini.

That's as nothing. I teach high school here in Bavaria. There's no end to the special occasions (Oktoberfest, Bavarian Day) that demand the girls get dressed up in dirndl and traditional costume. Bit of a shock when I started last year...

How funny! I was just added to this FB group "You might be from ... County if you remember" and some of the girls a little older than me were talking about teachers, and one they called the "pencil dropper." That was his nickname among the students. Forget about the teachers- what about the horny young boys in school? Are you implying that a male teacher in that sort of situation would be "irresponsible" if he were in any way even the slightest bit affected by that sort of a sight? So long as he's not gawking, staring, dropping pencils or putting the moves on the female students, I'd consider him quite responsible; with regard to being "affected" by the situation, is it his fault he has testosterone in his veins? You clearly must be female.
Wow. I never thought about those teachers before. Congratulations to all of them who survived these hords of half naked teenage girls!
I clearly remember, while in a 9th grade class, 1967-1968 school year, the male teacher, facing the class and asking the girls to sit more "lady like". "You don't know the disgusting things I have to look at all day" he continued. I was jealous of his view of the class!! All the girls back then wore miniskirts or mini dresses, pants hadn't been accepted as school attire for girls back then. I seemed to have been constantly dropping my pencil so I could lean down and look backwards towards the girls sitting behind me. The following school year, 1968-1969, the skirts and dresses had gotten even shorter. Even in a standing position, the length of the skirt just barely covered anything. When these young cute girls sat down, it was impossible not to stare. While sitting in my 10th grade Spanish class, two of the cutest girls in school sat directly opposite of me. They were completely oblivious to what they were doing to my attention span as they sat in a relaxed open legged style. In my junior and senior years of high school, girls also started wearing pants to school. This was long before the manufacturers of pantyhose had convinced women of the evils of VPL (visible panty lines). The next few years brought the introduction of "hot pants", tight, form fitting micro short shorts. This was also quickly followed by the natural, bra less look. Those were great times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in this same time period... not only where dresses extremely short but they still wore ..my favorite.. regular white bikini panties.. most wore pantyhose.. you would see an occasional garter and stockings, especially on older ladies and even a girdle now and then..a real treat every day.. my high school job was working in a gas station and at that time we still cleaned windshields.. I would see even more after school.. sometimes wives would be completely on display to me as the hubby sat behind the wheel and the kids bounced around in the back mom was showing me her panties and pantyhose or stockings...
