YouTube"What Girls Look At" is Cosmo For Guys' hidden camera trick to show that girls check out guys, too.
What do girls look at when they meet an attractive guy? New iPad-only magazine Cosmo for Guys wants to know, and they're not using a survey to find out.
Inspired by Levi's "rear view girls" video that caught men staring at women's assets earlier this year, the viral campaign team at Thinkmodo came up with their own hidden camera trick to see if the fairer sex is just as guilty of leering.
Anthony, a sweet and muscled guy who pretends to be lost in New York City, walks around asking various ladies for help with directions. He has four hidden cameras -- a Glasses Cam, Bicep Cam, Crotch Cam and Butt Cam -- that capture each female sneaking peeks at his chiseled features.
Sure enough, almost every girl gets caught looking at least once. Some of the glances might have just been incidental as they were looking around to help give the actor directions, but there were a few ladies who were definitely ogling. Busted!
Thinkmodo founder Michael Krivicka says the split-screen is intended to reflect one of Cosmopolitan's most successful publishing gimmicks: "[The] four synced cameras is our own fun take on the 'polls' that many magazines publish on a daily basis (except the glasses don't really count because the guy is talking to the girls)."
As featured on CBS and YouTube, more than 150,000 people have watched in just two days. It's a follow-up to Cosmo For Guys' recent viral video, "iPad Head Girl," which got more than a million hits last month.
