WORK EXPERIENCE

Reporting Analyst 

Zain Iraq 2019/07/21 - today 

My work in Zain helped me to have a great experience in how to extract data to produce various statistics and reports as we are in the BI [Business Intelligence] division providing the company departments with the requested data and reports for the purpose of performing their tasks, Where we spend 7 hours a day extracting data and building reports in all its forms, like financial, marketing, and sales etc.

I also have extensive experience in creating various types of dashboards using Tableau and Power BI software.

In addition to all that, I was able through the integration of my programming experience and my experience in data extraction, to create a program used to extract data easier, faster and usable by the rest of company's employees who are not working on the SQL language.

As they use this program, they can extract various types of reports through easy-to-use interfaces that allows them to specify a set of options for searching and extracting data according to their requirements.

I have named this program ATOMIC. I'm proud that i was able to accomplish it in just three months in an easy-used and fast-working way as it can extract more than 5 million records in just 10 minutes.

It is currently used by more than 15 employees in the sales department and I’m working on developing and improving it to provide better service to the rest of company employees in other departments.

Which was a system to manage the data of Computer Science Department with all details starting with student’s registration until graduation, including managing the weekly affairs, exam schedules, data and researches of the professors and practical upgrades.
