Stricken618, that was amazing, thank you! A guide like that really goes a long way towards fostering an understanding of what's going on. People need to know WHY they have to move or delete such and such file :-). Good stuff.
Um does anyone know if Stricken's guide doesn't work for a steam downloaded copy. I followed it to the letter and the thing still didn't work.
hey kronos191, I don't know much about the steam version, but a few posts ago stricken went into some kind of issues that steam verison user have. Maybe that will help you.
Hey guys, I'm having an odd problem.

I'm modding a Steam install of Oblivion, and I can use the standard HGEC pack just fine. I've tried various ways of using this mod though (including the great step-by-step instructions provided by stricken618) and what happens when I load up the game again is that the female's head is there, but the rest of the skin/body is totally missing! Any idea what might be causing this?

I'm going to keep reading backwards in this thread too...

edit: FIXED!

Wouldn't you know that I was spending hours on this, and then found a solution soon after posting - turns out a clothing mod I added earlier, "hg_stockcloth_armor_replace_11norm_ver2" was messing with the female body types as well - so happy to have it working!
Nice work on textures/models, and + Kudos to stricken618 for the omod fix.
If you want the mods from http://www.tesnexus....le.php?id=33441, or any other BBB mod, to work you need to do a procedure similar to the one stricken618 posted.
Just use the specific meshes from the new mods instead of the ones in the above posts. Use the same skeletons and animations though.

Don't forget to download your DMRA Clothing and then get the corresponding BBB revisions for them.

Only thing they need to do now is make BBAsses
Hello! I am new to the whole modding thing. I followed all the steps stated below but I can't get anything to work. I load the game and it is still the same clothed body. Anyone knows what's up?

I followed your instructions closely as possible, or at least I believe so. Yet when I implemented them it applied the animations to everyone. This was pretty hilarious, what with the emperor walking effeminately to my sell and then placing his hand on his side and trying to pose a sexily as possible. I actually want this to apply to female characters and not even myself as I do not play female characters. Any idea what I did wrong or what I should do?
