Terrible range management, chicken-winging the jab, not very snappy, and putting too much emphasis on power rather than speed and precision...
I agree. That 'jab' is useless. Typifies someone boxing for social media views
I'm pretty sure this video is "watch how hard I can punch" for his followers, speed and precision is out the window.

You can’t just take up a hobby out of nowhere, and be great, or even good. This guy, and Paul can revive Angelo Dundee today, they’d still wouldn’t be able to compete at high level.
This whole thing is a joke. It’s the reality version of Andy Kaufman beating women in wrestling matches, and then proclaiming himself the best. Marks eat up all that’s said from these “Celeb” boxers. But sadly we’ll never see them get their comeuppance from the sport they mock, like the way Kaufman got in the Kayfabe world of professional wrestling.

I'm a total novice so ELI5. Why is stepping back lead foot first bad?
Kind of weird to see now that you mention that?
Even when I was just starting boxing, stepping back with the rear foot and forward with the lead foot was just natural. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone step with their lead foot first to go backward or vice versa until now.

For both of them being youtubers who started boxing around the same time, Jake Paul looks much better than he did when he started, can't say the same for KSI.
He’s alright, but he doesn’t look any better than before. And as soon as he’s in the ring he goes full windmill
Using to much force and it’s comprising his defence (notice after the punches he doesn’t return to guard). Also the jab seems like just a tap to set up the right — way to telegraphed. Needs to sell the jab more if this is the case.
He didn’t throw a single proper jab. Not one. Any decent boxer around his weight would spark him the eff out with ease. Questions?
