On Friday evening I was turned away because my ID expired by a few months - bare in mind I hadn't realised this myself as no one has been anal enough to deny it AND I am also 31 years old. But this wasn't the issue or why I am leaving this review because I understand establishments can have stricter rules than others and that's fine. However the interaction I had with the girl behind the counter I think she had glasses was beyond the realms of normal service. After she made her unnecessarily drawn out point about my ID by pointing at the card and questioning me of the date in a very patronising manner - once I realised it had expired she and I quote said 'well it's not in date and for that reason I am going to have to ask you to step outside' with a smirk and smug look on her face - you'd expect this sort of response from a bouncer trying to de-escalate an aggressive situation which it was far from. She should seriously consider her tone and use of language because one day when she is not behind a counter, she may encounter someone who will put her in her place. The funny thing was I didn't need anything and was just accompanying my boyfriend inside and thought I may as well as I like to support local businesses - what a mistake! Would rather put my money into a shredder than support somewhere like this. Only one woman is nice and polite. The rest of the people working there are not nice. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a nice place to sit. Selection is more heavy on the hash and pre rolled, only a few options for weed by the gram. They also had boardgames which was very fun!
