Here’s What You Should Know About AMA Referencing

Joshua Dollar

AMA format is a documentary-note style. It means you have to put a number in your text to cite the sources in the in-text citations. The reference list should be written in numerical order. Take a look at some other points related to the AMA citation style.

AMA CITation Style

The major parts of a reference list are:

· Authors- This includes the surname initials.

· Title of part- This refers to the book chapters or journal articles and is always in sentence case.

· Title of the whole- This refers to the entire book or journal that you've cited from and is usually in title case and italics.

· Publication details- Include publication date, year, and the copyright year as well.

· Online details- When you cite information from a website, mention its URL in this section.

The order of these elements may change based on the type of source you’ve used to extract information. AMA referencing takes time. So, you can opt for essay writing services and ask the experts to cite the sources for you in case of a time crunch.
