Hilarious, Representative and Exciting
The 9News sitcom Here Come The Habibs is one of the best if not the best of it's kind. Not only does it accurately represent the funniest bits of Lebanese Australian culture that they are very proud of such as a weddings and huge families, it also contains the buildup of character relationships which constructed an attachment to the show, which has been made very clear by my family that would die to watch more of the show! The show was an amazing late night watch for the family - especially since we're stuck at home because of the easter holidays -

After winning the lottery, the Habib family move into Sydney's richest suburb to live the Australian dream, but their poshy next door neighbours are not all too happy about it.
When news of their lottery win goes viral, the Habibs are invaded by relatives from the old neighbourhood. Olivia resorts to dirty tricks to prevent Mariam joining her exclusive yacht club. Touffic’s latest scheme to impress his father lands him in hot water.
Fou Fou takes drastic action when his in-laws visit from Lebanon and decide to stay permanently. Olivia’s attempts to get rid of the Habibs backfire when she is arrested for terrorism offences and Touffic finally hits upon a business idea.
Touffic is threatened by the local kebab mafia when he launches the Cababab, a combined taxi/kebab shop. Elias moves out of home to impress Madison, but his mother has other ideas and Jack and Mariam cook up a revolutionary new business idea.
Layla and Touffic hijack their neighbour's 21st birthday party. Elias's romance with Madison appears doomed when her rich ex-boyfriend arrives from London and Jack's plans for the future of Bonza Biscuits are left in crumbs.
Mariam is shocked to discover who is behind the O'Neill's financial woes, and Touffic is forced to reassess his future when he is kidnapped by business rivals.
Olivia's worst nightmare becomes a reality when the O'Neills and the Habibs are trapped in the same house due to an Ebola scare. Lovebirds Elias and Maddie disagree over how to 'come out' to their families as a couple.
Fou Fou and Olivia join forces to drive out their unwelcome new neighbour, a Chinese-American movie star. Layla casts her family in star roles in her school video project on racism.
ou Fou bribes the O'Neills into hosting a Lebanese funeral in their house. Toufic launches his new funeral business, The Fundertakers, with disastrous results. Layla and Maddie steal Fou Fou's V8 for a burnout competition.
Mariam and Jack risk their marriages to perform in the multicultural musical 'Middle East Side Story'. Olivia plays dirty to stop Layla from becoming school captain at Rosemount Ladies' College.
A beach picnic turns into a riot when Fou Fou and Olivia come to blows and are arrested. Maddie's talented new boyfriend, Kanye, runs rings around Elias. But is he too good to be true?
