An affordable, clean hotel near to the Piraeus port. Its about 8 minutes walk from the metro. Convenient location to stay especially those whose catching early morning ferry at the port. Accessible by airport bus which take around 1hr. Near to ferry terminal to Santorini, around 15min walk. Metro is 20min fr hotel by walking. The hotel was well situated and had great facilities. The coffee machine in the foyer was a nice touch. Rooms were small but well presented but the noise from other rooms and the stairwell made sleep an impossibility. Rooms on the sixth floor are below the dining room so movements from above made the ceiling creak. Most staff were pleasant except for one lady at reception who was rude during basic innocuous interactions. Small hotel with an unassuming frontage. Good access to center of Athens by Metro or Bus. Breakfast very good but additional cost of 7 Euro. Internet reasonably good but with some outages. Tea making facilities are provided in the room but you have to get your tea bags at breakfast or from downstairs. I feel they would be better provided in the room. The staff do try hard to please and the laundry service is very good indeed! Shower tray the smallest I have ever seen causing floods in the bathroom. Nice balcony but without a great view. Overall quite good but a little expensive. If you get in late at Pireaus, perfect place to stay! Plenty bars open till 5 am. Rooms clean and some with balcony including the music from downstairs.. Straightforward, clean, friendly personnel and good service. Good good in their own restaurant, at the 8th flor. For one night perfect for catching the boat the next morning. Plenty bars and restaurants in the area. Liquor store around the corner. Top floor has restaurant and view. The location was good. Near to Metro 10 mins walk. A lot of shops and coffee house nearby. Staff are friendly. This place was very convenient for the ferry pier and easy for us to get to Aegina and back. Very different vibe than downtown Athens and cool area if you go exploring. The staff was very friendly and the rooftop restaurant is very nice as well. Not easy to find the Piraeus Dream Hotel. Only stay one night, it is OK, but I think still expensive for a night. Used hotel on stopoff before getting the ferry to islands and again on returning from the islands. Hotel was 2 minutes from port but located away from any noisy traffic. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant. Food on the rooftop restaurant was excellent. Arriving back from islands we checked in at 3am with mimimum of fuss. Rooms air-conditioned and clean. It was worth the price. Couple of things to improve. Bathroom was small, aircon was noy working as expected. It was tooo slow to heat n warm. Staff were excellent. Easy to reach, good location, close to the CBD. The hotel staffs are extremely friendly and helpful to our request. They even arrange to drive us to the port at 11pm for our am ferry. The location is near the bus terminal yet not too noisy to the busy central. Highly value for money. Good; Signage at the street entrance about the hotel would be helpful. Room was so small, could hardly walk around the bed. When I showered the water flooded the bathroom as the shower curtain was useless. I was expecting a simple hotel to spend 2 nights while going to Athens, so that I can catch the morning Seajet to Mykonos. I ended up spending more time than intended in the hotel room because it was so comfortable! Nice smelling too, which created a great first impression. The hotel also has an impressive collection of art mainly Nude portraits, and flowers that adorn almost every wall. Comfortable adequate room, great breakfast. Close to cruise terminal. Unfortunately incessant alarm going off outside during night no fault of hotel. We would stay there again if sailing from Piraeus. The hotel is clean and the staff exceptionally helpful. It is easy to go into Athens on the metro, and there are great local restaurants in the area. Excellent, just what we wanted and expected. We could recommend this hotel to anyone going on a cruise or travelling by car. We rented a car and found it very easy to leave this large city for points north. Great place to take an early morning ferry from. Just a short walk at 6 in the morning and you are there. Also close to some good restaurants and shops. Not the heart of Athens, but good for the early morning ferry. Quick check-in and out by staff with good English. We got all rooms next to each other. All rooms were clean and big enough. We only stayed one short night before the morning ferry. We chose to stay at Piraeus Dream Hotel because our ferry from Santorini arrived at about midnight and it would be easier to stay close to the port and leave the next morning. The hotel serves the purpose well. As we had morning ferry on am on the next day, we chose to stay in Piraeus. The location is not very near the pier. It took about 8 mins to walk to the pier. The room is neat, tidy and in reasonable size. The main concern for me is that there is no shampoo, hair-conditioner and shower gel provided. There is a orange-colour lotion I am not sure whether it is the hand-wash gel or I used it for hair and body wash. This made me very disappointed as I think this is necessary for a hotel to provide such basic items for visitors. No view from the windows. The rent is reasonable. This hotel is ideally located for access to the ferry port of Piraeus. The hotel is new and spotlessly clean. The rooms are comfortable with nice balconies on the upper floors. The buffet breakfast was very good indeed. The staff at reception were very helpful. However finding it is well worth the effort. The location is good if you are going to Piraeus as it will only take around 15 minutes to travel by walk. However it is not easy to be found. The bell boy and the receptionist was very helpful, they always give us a smile when we back to hotel. And they give us a roof top room that i can see the view nicely, the room is clean and comfortable. Was what we wanted. A room to stay that was close to the port. Hotel staff were kind and very helpful. Location of hotel in relation to the Piraeus port ferry terminals was not the best - at least minutes walk by our reckoning. Not very good if you are carrying heavy luggage. Breakfast was available at 5 euros per person. I would highly recommend the Piraeus Dream, both for its good location and for the helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was excellent,the room was comfortable and we were able to leave our luggage all day for a small charge. We also liked the fact that there was a kettle in the room to make coffee when we arrived. I will definitely use the hotel next time I go to Piraeus, and hope the staff are there to welcome us again.
