Heidi Klum ’s legs aren’t just the most wanted , they’re also worth millions.
Back in 2011, Heidi's legs were insured for $2.2 million. One leg for $1.2 and the other for $1 million, because “I have a big old scar on my knee,” she says.
At 43, Heidi's legs are still covetable. “I always enjoyed, and I still do, wearing super short miniskirts showing off my legs,” she tells PEOPLE. “I think legs are sexy. I do like to put a focus on my legs when I go out or when I get onto the red carpet. I do.”
She says her legs have aged well because she works out now more than ever. “When you get older everything changes,” she says. “I have four children and I gained 45, 50 lbs. with each of them… [It’s] gravity and having four pregnancies where your body stretches in and out four times, so I do more now than I have in my twenties or my thirties.”
“My thirties is when I started to take care more of my body in terms of changing my eating habits, eating much healthier, leaner,” she says. “Obviously I still have burgers and fries and all of that stuff, but not as much as I did in my twenties. I mean that’s not true, I still love my fries, I just don’t have my fries… When I was in my twenties I did not think about any of this kind of stuff. None of it.”
These days, Heidi says, “I run a little bit. I don’t run like super fast or super far,” she says. “But it’s not really about how fast you do it. For me it’s just like doing it, period.” She also climbs on the treadmill wearing ankle weights, and does rear-focused “butt lifts” that also tap her inner thigh area. “It’s always good to keep the muscles underneath working so that it is nice and toned,” she says. “Toned is good.”
But if you’re not lucky enough to be blessed with supermodel genes (and a supermodel workout plan ), Heidi has a couple of fixes, one of which you can get at the drug store.
“If you don’t feel super-confident because maybe you are still a little scared to show your legs, I love fishnet stockings,” she reveals. “Fishnet stockings look always fantastic. You can buy them in your skin color, or in black… You’ll see a lot of performers [on stage]. what do they wear? Fishnet stockings. It’s like a trick, because your leg always looks much better. So you get the illusion of a nude leg, without having an opaque stocking. You still get the illusion of seeing your skin.”
“I love Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs,” she says. “You have to find your color so that it’s not too orange-y or too pasty or too chalky looking, but they do have great colors… You have to just dry [off] a little bit before you put your clothes on, you have to like walk around without anything on for a little while, and then you put your little miniskirt on. It definitely makes your legs so much better looking… [There are those] little veins that pop out on [my] legs, so I like to cover them.”

Heidi Klum has proven many times that she isn’t afraid to bare it all, as she’s showcased her gorgeous figure on Instagram on countless occasions. The beloved supermodel is so comfortable in the skin she’s in, and lucky for fans, she’ll flaunt her confidence with seductive snaps.
Whether she’s snuggling in bed on a lazy Sunday afternoon with husband Tom Kaulitz or boasting her toned physique in a swimsuit , it’s not uncommon for Heidi to put herself on full display. In the captions of most of her posts, it’s typical to find Heidi — who is the mom of her four kids , Leni , Henry, Johan and Lou — spreading body positivity. In early June, the former Victoria’s Secret model shared a compilation video while posing in the mirror in a bikini. “Be your own biggest cheerleader … love the skin you’re in,” she proclaimed .
It’s not all about looks, though, as Heidi is more focused than ever on feeling good and being healthy. Now that she’s in her 40s, the Germany’s Next Topmodel star makes sure to prioritize her well-being. Fortunately, Heidi doesn’t “really have a specific diet,” as she told Entertainment Tonight in 2018: “I just eat very healthfully.”
“I start with great smoothies in the morning,” the Project Runway alum continued, noting she doesn’t “eat out a lot” when it comes to dinner. “[I] have four children, so we cook a lot. I think when you eat out a lot or order food in a lot, it kind of gets a little tricky, because you don’t know what people are putting in there.”
When it comes to exercising, Heidi told Women’s Health she has “a treadmill that’s really great” in her home . However, “it sits there unused [because] I don’t have time for it,” she joked. In order to fit in her exercise, Heidi prefers going on a hike or bike ride with her children. “I’ve figured out what works for me,” she shared.

In an October 26 mirror selfie, the America’s Got Talent judge flaunted her killer abs and long legs in the ensemble.
Heidi took a break from tanning to show off her long blonde waves and enviable décollitage in a tiny nude bikini top. She simply captioned the September 26, 2021, photo, “California Sun.”
Heidi shared a makeup-free photo lying down on a blanket in her backyard, appearing to work on her tan in the early autumn Los Angeles sunshine. She looked incredible in a flesh-colored bikini.
During her family vacation in Italy, Heidi stunned in a pink two-piece bikini while enjoying the waves aboard their yacht. She simply captioned the sultry photo, “Buon giorno.”
While in Corsica, a topless Heidi took a dip off the yacht that she and husband Tom were on with her children. Beaming from ear to ear in the photo she shared on Instagram on July 30, Heidi wrote in the caption, “You put the biggest smile on my face Tom.”
Heidi barely made it past Instagram’s no nudity policy when she shared a photo on July 11 of her naked on an outdoor lounger, with just her carefully placed hands and folded legs covering up her private areas. Amid an extreme heat warning in Southern California, Heidi claimed, “Today was a HOT one” in her caption … though she was more sizzling than the temperatures outside.
The Devil Wears Prada alum posed topless in front of a view of the beach and gave a sultry stare as she looked back. “Photo by Tom Kaulitz,” she wrote on June 24.
“Hello Monday,” Heidi captioned a clip dancing in a blue two-piece and gray shorts on June 21.
Heidi showed off her toned tushy in a super cute green-patterned swimsuit while painting a canvas on June 20.

The star teased that a new music video for the song will be released, posting a video to Instagram on Saturday with the caption: Next week it's finally out, our Chai Tea with Heidi video'.
