We already know Heidi Klum is a self-proclaimed nudist . But even that couldn't have prepared us for the images contained in the steamy new photo book, Heidi Klum by Rankin .
The mother-of-four and world-renowned supermodel poses completely naked for a collection of images shot by British photographer Rankin. On why she wanted to do such a risqué and revealing photo shoot now, the 43-year-old model explained that her love of the female form was her inspiration.
"We should be celebrating a woman's body; it doesn't matter what age they are," she told the Daily Mail while at Naomi Campbell's Fashion for Relief gala in Cannes.
Heidi Klum by Rankin was released Friday and is available for $134 at Marc Jacobs' Greenwich Village store, Bookmarc.

The supermodel appeared to suffer something of a wardrobe malfunction as she got to work for Project Runway in a number of jaw-dropping outfits.
However, one in particular revealed a lot more of the 44-year-old than others as she strutted around the busy streets.
Wearing her tresses in a high ponytail, Heidi’s nipples were impossible to miss as they protruded through her tiny, white T-shirt.
Appearing to go braless, the TV beauty also let her toned tum take centre-stage by wearing the cropped number with a high-waisted pair of pale skinny jeans.
Heidi stood out from the crowd thanks to her bright pink trench coat, which she left undone, while opting for towering red heels.
Later in the shoot, the stunner appeared to channel Belle from Beauty And The Beast in a billowing, yellow gown.
Heidi couldn’t resist swishing the busty, strapless number around as she got out of a matching taxi.
She certainly caused a stir as she promoted Project Runway, which she hosts and follows contestants as they try to design and make the best clothes to impress the judges.
It was a busy day for Heidi who later made a beeline for Bookmarc to celebrate a new book about her by Rankin, featuring some very scantily-clad shots.
The leggy star pulled out all the stops in a leg-baring metallic minidress and ruffled heels.

It’s Heidi Halloween : The Sequel ! Heidi Klum loves the spooky holiday and her annual Halloween party , but the ongoing pandemic has necessitated another year of a socially distanced day. So the supermodel and her family, Leni, 17, Henry, 16, Johan, 14, and Lou, 12, came back with another horror short film (fair warning, it’s gory) to continue the story from last year — but this time with Klum naked shower scene (and a free-the-nipple moment).
Last year, the demonic kids killed Klum and husband Tom Kaulitz in their creative short, so this year, it’s all about revenge. In Heidi Does Halloween 2: Klum’s Day , the mother-of-four acts out moments from famous horror movies , including The Shining and The Blair Witch Project . But it’s her reenactment of the famous shower scene in Psycho that has everyone talking — Klum knows how to push the limits just enough in her work. The moment is shot in black-and-white as the naked model lets the water run down her body and if you look closely enough, you get a nipple cameo.
The video is so well done — it’s like Klum has her own version of Thriller , without all of the singing and dancing, but she gets her zombie on. “I love the transformation process,” Klum told USA Today . “Costumes, wigs, contact lenses, prosthetics and the makeup all play an important part when creating a look. We all have different passions in life, and transforming into different things and characters is definitely mine.”
She’s so good in the high-concept movie that we can’t believe Hollywood hasn’t come banging on her door to star in a horror film — she would eat it right up (zombie pun) — it could be called Nightmare on Project Runway . And if the entertainment industry isn’t ready for a Klum horror movie, she’s hoping to be back with her epic party in 2022.
