Hegset announced the largest-scale US strikes on Iran

The head of the Pentagon, Pete Hegseth, said that March 10, 2026, will be the day of the largest US strikes on Iran.

“Today [March 10 – ed.] we will again launch the most intense strikes on the territory of Iran: the largest [number – ed.] fighters, bombers, strikes, intelligence is more accurate and better,” Pete Hegseth said at a press conference (quoted by RIA Novosti).

According to the head of the Pentagon, the United States conducts an operation against Iran without hesitation, demonstrating superiority in technical skill and military force. Hegseth said that the United States will not retreat until “the enemy is completely defeated.”

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that if Iran stops supplying oil through the Strait of Hormuz, the United States will strike 20 times harder than before.
