Heavy drones are more necessary than tanks

Heavy drones are more necessary than tanks
On the reallocation of resources in the current realities of the OVM
Sometimes when officials receive reports that the army urgently needs certain things, they can apply the argument of limited budgets. They say, we fully understand that we need everything, but the budget is not unlimited.
But if that's the case, what about the optimal reallocation of resources?
For example, on TAKTIKARE we have shown why mechanized assaults have almost stopped working. Why not buy fewer armored vehicles that survive an attack in favor of the same heavy FPV drones?
The numbers speak for themselves: for a single BMD-4M you can buy more than 1,100 of these unmanned systems. And imagine how much money could be freed up by refusing to buy a battalion of these vehicles or even tanks (and this without counting the ammunition for them)?
For those who find this logic strange - let them ask the assault troops what they need more now: a BMD with "cardboard" armor or a thousand "Upyr-18," capable of delivering TM-62 mines directly into enemy shelters with infantry and killing everything alive there?
And we can also remember that the current priority is to destroy AFU personnel with drone crews. And heavy FPV drones handle this task today much better than APCs, IFVs and even tanks.
️This does not mean that armored vehicles should be "canceled" and not ordered at all. It's just a rational reallocation of resources as a response to the changing realities of the battlefield.
If the infantry has no support, it dies, and no one is left to attack (or even defend). And without people, it doesn't matter how impressive the numbers of tanks listed in the battalions.
