It contained a lot of morbid content
I thought the guy shut it down since he's now in his mid 30s with a family and didn't want to be associated with it.
Cat considered it several times throughout the years but never did it until everything went down. I posted what happened above and idleevening.com was the shell of the site that was left after over the incident and H666 lost all of its users.
As I understand it someone posted a pic of an underage girl and the Feds caught wind of it. The site wasn't updated forever while they investigated it. The owner then limited uploads to members that he trusted and then (rumor has it) got turned in to the feds again (for the same reason; child porn pic) so he just said "screw it" and banned all porn to the site, re-branded it and let it die a slow death.
Also, the site rule that changed is all of his trusties reviewed content as opposed to everything being posted and either voted off the site or kept by members. They were voted off based on how many negative votes they got in a short period of time after being posted, not if the over all votes were negative. This method was extremely effective until that douche posted that shit.
It wasn't a pic, it was 3 videos and I remember one of the preview images being what looked like a toddler with a monster cock up her ass. That image is burned into my mind as the more disturbing things tend stay with you the longest. I had one of the older accounts and was a frequent user and was one of the people that reported it. The site rules changed and the community no longer had the freedom that was heaven666. It wasn't a slow death. It was nearly instant. That day the site lost more than half of its users and about 2 weeks later it was dead. The site used to have one of the best communities I had ever seen. I hope the site is archived somewhere and my years of comments weren't lost.
When you say ''morbid content'' what does that mean? Like CP? Or rape? What exactly?
Images and videos of death and so on. Fine art as well. Inspirational images and random cool stuff. It wasn't a porn site by any means. But yeah there was smut that was just goofy as hell which is why it got posted. Normal porn was actually a ToS violation.
