Parody of the What About Bob? movie poster, feat. the Weinstein brothers and four of Harvey’s alleged victims: actresses Ashley Judd, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rose McGowan, and Asia Argento (clockwise from left).
After nearly three decades of successfully squashing sexual abuse allegations, Hollywood titan Harvey Weinstein is finally facing the music. When actress Ashley Judd came forward in the New York Times last week along with several former Weinstein staffers, the cone of silence surrounding the movie mogul broke. An explosive report by Ronan Farrow at The New Yorker followed days later with multiple allegations of rape and an audio recording of Weinstein admitting to sexual assault. Actresses including Asia Argento, Rosanna Arquette, Angelina Jolie, Rose McGowan, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Mira Sorvino joined the chorus of accusers speaking out publicly.
Weinstein’s fall from grace has been swift in the aftermath: he was fired from the company he founded and left by his wife, and is now under police investigation in London and New York.
But absent amidst the fury engulfing Weinstein is condemnation of his brother, Bob, who is also a co-founder of The Weinstein Company.
According to Harvey Weinstein’s former attorney, David Boies, the board of The Weinstein Company knew of at least three or four settlements with victims back when Harvey’s contract was up for renewal in 2015. Two company officials told the Times that there were eight settlements with victims over the years. And many within the company and across the entertainment industry have admitted that Weinstein’s behavior was an open secret. Kathy DeClesis, a former assistant to Bob Weinstein in the early 1990s, told the Times , “It wasn’t a secret to the inner circle.”
DeClesis was Bob’s assistant NEARLY 30 YEARS AGO . So if Harvey Weinstein is despicable and worthy of condemnation, what about Bob? What about the board of The Weinstein Company? What about all the other folks who were complicit in Harvey’s alleged crimes?
Harvey Weinstein did not act alone.

Never make fun of people’s looks… unless the person you’re making fun of is the monster Harvey Weinstein .
New rule, just made it up! Ha!!!
Porn production companies like WoodRocket , HUSTLER , and Burning Angel spoof and parody pretty much everything nowadays — if it’s big in the news, or movies, or entertainment at some point, you can assume one of them will be doing a porn spoof of it soon afterwards.
They’ve done a million porn parodies of real-life events, including things like Ten Inch Ninja Turtles , and a Tiger Woods spoof after his issues a few years back.

But word has come down from the company that even though his sexual misconduct has been ALL over the news the last few months, Harvey Weinstein will NOT be the subject of any porn spoof on their end.
Why?
Simple — there are two reasons. The first, according to WoodRocket producer Lee Roy Myers , is noble:
“WoodRocket.com would never do a parody of somebody or something that hurt people.”
Amen to that!!!
But the second AND WAY BETTER reason for avoiding a Harvey Weinstein porn spoof came from Burning Angel founder Joanna Angel , who told TMZ (below):
“There are certain aesthetic standards for today’s male performers, and there is no one who remotely comes close to looking like Harvey Weinstein, nor should there be.”
Ha!!!
That is the most polite-sounding-and-yet-SO-vicious takedown EVER!
Love it!!!

As more allegations spill out about Harvey Weinstein’s decades of sexual misconduct against women in Hollywood, the phrase “open secret” is being tossed around quite a bit. People in the entertainment industry have gossiped about Weinstein’s behavior for years, even though it’s just now being discussed in public after the New York Times and New Yorker investigations , as A-listers including Gwyneth Paltrow, Angelina Jolie and Ashley Judd are on the record describing disturbing experiences.
Much earlier, Weinstein’s reputation was already referenced quite openly in pop culture — and it was no secret about what TV writers thought of him.
The HBO comedy and Hollywood parody had a brief but memorable arc in the mid-2000s with a character named “Harvey Weingard,” an over-the-top terrifying producer who was a very loosely veiled version of Weinstein. (The Hollywood Reporter wrote that Weinstein was initially not a fan and that he told star Kevin Connolly that the producers were “dead” if they mentioned him again.)
On the show, Harvey was portrayed as an extremely influential, verbally abusive power player who threatened to end people’s careers if he didn’t get his way. He went ballistic on Vince (Adrian Grenier) and the guys when they changed their minds about a movie deal.
On NBC’s “30 Rock,” actress Jenna Maroney (Jane Krakowski) could always be counted on for a random tidbit about her past with celebrities — there were jokes about how she dated O.J. Simpson or was engaged to David Blaine. In a March 2012 episode, Jenna was furious that “Weird Al” Yankovic was parodying one of her songs. Her co-star, Tracy Jordan (Tracy Morgan), tells her that it’s a bad idea to mess with Weird Al.
“Oh, please, I’m not afraid of anyone in show business,” Jenna says. “I turned down intercourse with Harvey Weinstein on no less than three occasions. Out of five.”
The next season, it comes up again as Jenna consoles Kenneth the page (Jack McBrayer) about his love interest.
“I know how former lovers can have a hold over you long after they’re gone,” she says. “In some ways, I’m still pinned under a passed-out Harvey Weinstein, and it’s Thanksgiving.”
Weinstein was known to do everything in his power to secure Oscar nominations for his movies. In Tuesday’s bombshell New York Times piece that featured quotes from Paltrow and Jolie, the story reminded everyone that in 2013, “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane cracked a joke about this while announcing the Oscar nominees for best supporting actress: “Congratulations, you five ladies no longer have to pretend to be attracted to Harvey Weinstein.” MacFarlane and his announcing partner, Emma Stone, paused as the audience cracked up at that one.
