"For Sports Fans, By Sports Fans" The lighter side of sports.
Bryan Harsin is just living the dream.
Harsin, who was a Boise quarterback from 1995-1999, got his head coaching start at Arkansas State before he got his dream opportunity to come back to his former school and be the head coach of Boise State.
On Friday night, Boise State took on Marshall, and although the game was quite ugly, the Broncos came out on top 14-7.
After the game, Harsin spoke to reporters, but people wanted to know more about his insanely hot wife in the background.
Let’s take a few more looks at Kes Harsin:

West Memorials: Not your average monument company

As a monument artist, you always remember your first design. The first monument I designed was for a beautiful young lady who died in a tragic traffic accident. I was fortunate to spend a couple of hours with her parents hearing all about her. Before I left, her mother gave me a picture of the young woman saying, "While you are designing this headstone, I want you to remember who you are working for". After a nerve-wrecking week, I finally arrived at a design that I felt was both beautiful and told the story of this wonderful life cut short. I have never been so nervous as when I showed the design to her parents, after all, this was a headstone for their child, it had to be right. I pulled back the cover and with a tear in her eye, mom looked at dad and said, "It's perfect."
After being in the monument company industry for 8 years, I designed a beautiful cemetery monument for a little boy. My boss told me I had to quit wasting so much time with families and get my volume up. I knew I was done with conglomerate corporations and West Memorials was born.
My wife, Missy, the computer whiz and brains of the family, suggested we share our artistic abilities with the rest of the world. West Memorials, the internet company, was born and we became the primary monument artists.
The thought of selling cemetery monuments, headstones, and grave site memorials online scared me at first. I was used to sitting at kitchen tables and listening to family stories. But after so many beautiful stories with so many families all over the country, I am convinced that this is where I need to be.
Missy and I are 2017 Monument Builders of North America Designers of the Year. We also won awards for Best Flat Marker Design 2017, Best Large Monument Design 2017, Best Small Monument Design 2017 and Best Laser Etched Design 2017. I am past-president of the Tennessee Monuments Builders Association, 2001-2003. I am a member of Monument Builders of North America, Memphis Chamber of Commerce and Germantown Chamber of Commerce. I am a graduate of the Elberton Granite Association Advance Design class and an instructor at the 2002 and 2005 EGA.
Missy and I feel it is important that we talk to each client. One of us monument artists will be glad to help you with the special memorial design you are searching to find.

Just know my heart wants to hug everyone who helped.

You have questions about West Memorials, we have answers.

We have placed memorials in every state in the U.S. and several different countries. Our gallery and studio is in Memphis, TN
We are better at designing unique monuments than your local company and you will find we will surpass them in customer service as well.
I, also, try to buy locally but only if it is my best choice. Many local companies carry ordinary stock gravestones and grave markers but most don’t do much creative or custom cemetery art. Custom stone work is the focal point of our business so we have an experienced design team, graphic artists, the best sculptors and state of the art equipment.
It is illegal and untrue. Westmemorials.com and our designs are protected by copyright laws. The pictures you are seeing are the result of discussions and drawings between us and our clients. We have used the same sculptor for over 10 years as his skill and expertise is superior to others. We pour our hearts into our designs. We take great pride in making each memorial unique in some way. This kind of love can’t be copied. There is a reason our memorials look better than you have seen anywhere else.
We make our memorials and headstones one at a time so we can make any design in different sizes, different granite colors or with any changes you would like. Design decisions will affect price, so it is difficult to list prices online. We have granite monuments to fit any cost range. Please email or call us and we will be glad to provide pricing estimates so we can get you started in a direction to find the most beautiful memorial design that best fits your needs.
No. The local tombstone company is not making the memorial in your city and, generally, only letters memorials at their location. Granite headstones are being manufactured elsewhere and are shipped to the local company. Shipping has been factored into their pricing. Since we are in Memphis the “distribution center of the world” and home of FedEx, we get amazing shipping rates. Most of the time you will pay less in shipping from us than you do from the local company.
Traditional shape granite monuments will normally ship in 6-8 weeks. Unique, hand carved, custom memorials can take 4-6 months. We are constantly striving for the shortest time possible.
No. If they tell you this they are breaking the law. You may purchase your grave memorial or grave marker from the company of your choice.
We will take care of everything. We will make sure the cemetery allows what we are making for you and find an installer to place the memorial. We do this at no charge as a courtesy for our clients and allow you to pay the installer directly. Be wary of a company that gives you the task of finding an installer, this is not your job.
We are responsible for the stone until it is delivered. On the rare occasion that a stone is broken, we will handle all paperwork with the trucking company. We will either repair or replace the stone.
No, No, No. All companies you see online are not the same. We are memorialists.
Decades of work, study, experience and desire results in the company you find in West Memorials. We are memorialists that use the internet to offer our talents and artistry to anyone, anywhere that needs our expertise. We are not a company that “was trying to think of something that they could sell online”, or a company that “was trying to make some extra money” as I’ve been told by other companies selling online. We are a memorial company that uses the internet to show you that you don’t have to settle for ordinary memorial art or for being overcharged.
This is great news! The designs you are seeing are what other people wanted and not necessarily want you want. With our website we are trying to show you that you do not have to settle for common gravestones. Everyone deserves something unique to them and the designs shown on our site are there to inspire and culminate ideas. If you see the exact memorial you want on our site then that is awesome but we also encourage questions. This is an important decision and we are the people that can help you the best.

We the Student Body of Lapeer High wish to honor our parents and interested groups, who have made our new High School possible. In so much, as to show our gratitude of your endeavour to promote learning and understanding we dedicate this book to you.

At left, a parent talking to Mr. Me Eachern, during Open House.Parents come to our school for various reasons. Here we find some enjoying the band concert which was presented at an assembly program.

Open House a time for parents to visit not only school but also teachers. A Time set aside by the administration for parents to discuss problems with teachers.

Of Our Students

The Home Coming Assembly brought interest to several parents who suddenly found themselves caught up in the swirl of activities, when they discovered their daughters were candidates.

"And they've asked a friend of mine what they should put in the cornerstone for people to dig-tTp a thousand years from now. Of course, they've put in a copy of the New York times and a copy of Mr. Webb's Sentinel. We're putting in a Bible and the Constitution of the United States and a copy of William Shakespeare's Plays. . . . Y'know Babylon once had two million people in it, and all we know about 'em is the names of the kings and some copies of wheat contracts and the sales of slaves.

Capeer Board Of Gducation

Taking another step in keeping with our theme of Our Town, we have taken the pictures of the School Board members at their place of occupation. As you look at these citizens of our community you will no doubt notice that they come from all walks of life to serve the school and the community.

We are sorry that Dr. Green's picture is not shown on these pages, but unfortunately he was not available at the time these pictures were taken.

MR. ALBERT SEELYE

Our Ofia n s

We the student body of Lapeer Senior High would like to express our gratitude to our school board for the site in the construction of our new high school.

So often, we forget the blood, sweat, and tears that are unfolded in a project of this nature. We trust that you our representatives of the community will carry on in this same manner in the years to come. For the greatest asset we can leave our children is an education.
