dont have a link but it is confirmed that the harem king is not his dad or relative. i dont believe there is any good info on why he protects the gamer.
Harem King is not any of Jee Han's parents. Author has conformed this. I think his father is also something in abyss as Jee Han says he's mysterious. Maybe harem king is one of his school teachers. In the recent chapter, his math teacher also came with Shin Sun II.
Oooh... I could kinda see his homeroom teacher for some reason. I guess just because he seems like just the sort of 'tough love/fatherly' sort to put out a protection notice on one of his students who got drawn into the abyss.

Statistics (8 threadmarks, 18k words)
I'm looking for someone interested in the story to read my chapters in advance to point out annoying quirks or egregious errors. More importantly, I need feedback on what my reader likes and dislikes about the style and rather the content is lacking depth. Anyone with some knowledge of Korean culture would also be welcome. I'm seriously considering just changing the setting since I'm totally ignorant, but I'll hold off for now and hit up Wikipedia.

I'm sure that with a title like this, there will be plenty of presumptions... I've decided that I like some of the other aspects of The Gamer; Han Jee-Han has a mysterious relationship with an extremely powerful being of unknown age, origin, and affiliation... known as 'The Harem King.'

Someone PM'd me to say the same, so I'll be responding to these concerns publicly at this point.
I had originally tried to inform everyone why the title was chosen to avoid the issue, but I seem to have a tendency to leave too much unsaid. Given the title M.C. receives in his maturity, there will be many romances, and something else... But, this will contain zero sexual content.

I am still looking for someone to pre-read chapters. It would also be good to have someone I can ask questions about South Korea. I'd like to find good names for the characters, but they are just going to be random Korean names at this rate, except for Alice, but she is foreign. The problem is that the hanja used to write the names imply different possible meanings, but I have no idea what they are! If I accidentally name one of the characters something like 'human spider,' I claim ignorance!

A Study Of Alternatives To Gaia Theoryβ
Most of you will know that Gaia Theory is the prospect of the Earth itself being sentient. This is commonly used to explain illusion barriers in addition to some of the more intricate or powerful innate ability users. Recently; however, there has been a change in research techniques used to explore the Abyss. We are questioning old axioms, delving into the origins of these beliefs and finding alternatives.
I will continue with a discussion of several popular alternatives. Before that, let me reject the notion that these effects are all unconnected. It's taken for granted that the magic of the Abyss is all of two forms: innate and acquired, but why shouldn't it be? It is more preposterous to decide that many more have their own origins. Are there not only four forces which govern the realm of normal society's science? I could go into more detail on this, but to avoid derailing the topic, I'll leave additional arguments in Appendix A.

Hi guys,
I'm just putting out a notice that as I am traveling (since last Thursday up to the 23rd), I may not post a chapter this or next week, but we'll see.
I'm a bit conflicted about this chapter. It commits me to a lot of character development on multiple fronts and I worry that my tone is a bit heavy handed already. I'm deciding to keep it though. I'll try to space out stuff like this.
Would be love sweeter had words been left unspoken, are otherwise only to hide the shadow of future pain?
