This is an enjoyable OV read with characters who treat each other with respect, which is a huge plus for me when it comes to OV romance. I loved that the setting was a college and that omegas are accepted there (points to Haze for a heat being an excused absence for both alphas and omegas!). There were some jarring elements, though. For a college student desperately concerned about her academic performance, Rosie suddenly goes to spending all her time with four alphas. There are indications of classes and tutoring, but when did she get to study with the demands these guys placed on her? I felt the same about the alpha pack and their rowing. They seemed to do crew and fool around with Rosie, and when the heck were the classes and studying that led to these men being high academic achievers (while aspiring Olympians, which strained credulity)? While I understand that a romance's focus needs to be, you know, the romance, I needed a bit more to indicate well-rounded lives for the protagonists. Rosie, in particular, lives in fear at the beginning of In Deep that she's going to be subsumed by her omega nature if she's with an alpha. But then when that actually starts happening to her, she's blasé about it. Even her best friend says that she barely sees her anymore because Rosie is so involved with her alpha pack. I would have liked to have seen Rosie be more challenged by this. So it's great to see a positive approach to OV relationships like Haze writes here. I just wished, as students, that a bit more was given to balance out the OV aspects with academics.
First, I am currently so obsessed with omegaverse and this book is definitely at the top of my omegaverse list! It was amazing and I loved that it was a standalone. Such an easy read, but it still gave me everything I needed. The FMC Rosie is so sweet and independent and that’s something I love to see in an omegaverse. And all her guys are hot! I love how they pursued her but were also super respectful of her and her needs. I would have loved to see more MM in this book, but other than the that, it was great! Such a great book and I highly recommend!!
There’s so much to love in this book. Not only is the female main character aspiring to be a professional..she’s in physics. And she doesn’t give up her dream or stop supporting her men’s dream either. And although she grows, she doesn’t change who she is at the core. This book is hottttt! And the emotional/insecurity that Rosie feels is felt like a hurt punch but not so over done that you start for resent her or feel like it’s whining. It’s very organic and real. The relationship building feels organic as well and I loved the sports alignment because it wasn’t overdone. I found this author through a recommendation and I now feel like I need to read everything she’s ever written. I need more of these sweet omegaverses!
Hannah did it again with her soft and steamy omegaverse stories. This one was good enough I read it in one sitting- I seriously couldn’t put it down. Rosie is an Omega with dreams so much bigger than her designation, and with well meaning- but unsupportive- parents she finds herself fighting through societal expectations in college with no one but her beta best friend at her side… …until she meets The Crew. An Alpha pack without an omega, some of the most eligible Alphas around with dreams rivaling her own in grandeur. Rosie and her men are beautiful together. Supportive, loving, and full of healthy, open communication. If I could give this more stars I absolutely would. Brava, Hannah, on this heartwarming, but steamy, novel!
Haze did a very good job creating an enjoyable standalone RH. Her characters surprisingly had a decent amount of depth and personality which you don’t always see in standalone RH that are only around 300 pages. There was plenty of steam and dirty talk. But there was also conflict and angst. I will say had it been maybe 200 more pages she could have created a lot more angst and we could have seen a little deeper into the characters. But I don’t think thats really what she was going for. I think she was creating a nice well rounded enjoyable read that didn’t tear your heart apart just to put it back together. And you don’t always want to read things that hurt l. So if your looking for a well written RH standalone with a good plot and steam this book is for you!
There’s not much better than one sexy alpha who (literally) knocks you off your feet and has a way with words that have you melting in his hands…. Who am I kidding- there today is ANd that’s 4 sexy alphas ready to spoil you and treat you like a queen. Rosie thinks she’s broken but really she just never met the right guy. I loved the individual moments she shared with each alpha along with the group scenes - straight fire! But I think what stood out most was their drive. Not only were the alphas dedicated to their rowing dreams but they pushed for Rosie to succeed and while I wish we saw more of the guys pOVs instead of just the epilogue it really was perfection to finally see how they see her- as one.
I loved that the guys were rowers and they had that in common. I had no problem keeping them separate people in my head. I do not like romances written in the first person and I think that was part of why it was less fun for me. I really do feel like I’m missing part of the story. Honestly, it’s been a few days since I read this and I have forgotten a few things. That should say something about it. I enjoyed the story while I was reading it, but I’m not remembering it well. I felt like there was a bit too much angst with one of the guys and not quite enough with a couple of the others. It’s good and I don’t not recommend it. It’s a good omegaverse books and there aren’t a whole lot of those right now. But it’s not my favorite. Four stars, three chili peppers. <— I expected a bit more steamy times together…there was a lot of one couple and very little of everything else.

Not my usual
The writing is good it kept me reading without skipping too too much, however I don't understand how this fit in the paranormal section. It seems to me the characters are an extremely watered down version of shifters. Halfway through the book I was still expecting something to happen, like really anything. There is a lot of smut and m/m. I would probably try to read something else from the author because I didn't mind her storytelling but this had no plot just a tale of going to Uni.
This book if full of spice, passion and heat! The characters are interesting and Rosie flourishes under their attention. I felt that Rosie lost herself a bit within this story from where she started out to where she ends up and the storyline didn’t give lots of depth under the steaminess but I enjoyed this read and the characters within it. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

New to me author
Its not bad, but i would have liked more world building, reading about them getting to know each other out of the bedroom. Missing a little angst, the drama was over before it began and was a little silly in all honesty. It was all just a little too easy. I enjoy read a uk based author especially set here in uk so it was a nice change

Sweet omegaverse
This is soooo hot 🔥. I absolutely fell in love with all of the characters! Very steamy and lots of smut! Sweet and cute omegaverse, perfect for anyone that loves omegaverse and particularly those that aren't keen on the dark dystopian theme that a lot of them have.

This book offers what you need in a omegaverse book. Sexy hot alpha an a omega who needs her Alpha's knot. This book follows Rosie and her 4 Alpha's. Rosie has to over come some obstacles in this story before she gets what she wants. Over all a good book to read
