First off I want to say that I love shark movies, but this is the most boring shark movie that I have ever seen. The movie was so muted down that it just felt bazar. Whoever was in charge of the music/scores that were used in this movie should be embarrassed, in scenes where the sharks are attacking there was no exciting music or sounds to indicate danger or even that anything was happening at all so if you weren’t watching the screen every second you would never even know that that person was dead until you were like hey where the hell is bob (fake name so not to give spoilers). The only time that you even feel the drama is when HB’s character gets pissed at the rich dude. My advice is if you like shark movies watch a different one!

First of all I wanted to see the movie were actress Halle Berry and French actor Olivier Martinez had met on. We all know the stories about actresses and their male co-star's..? Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton ? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt ..? First of all the two are very attractive and the story line didn't make much sense .. ? Don't know what her agent said to her to make her want to take this assignment either..? Could have been the pay ..? Mr.Martinez obviously was side tracked and so was she ...You can tell that someone was bitten by the "Love-Bug"... their scenes were a bit distracted as if they weren't putting to much effort into their role's..?? The script ...was a dud..!! I did enjoy seeing the footage of her under water .. Honestly I am terrified of "Deep-water" and I have no interest in swimming in water were .. shark's could be that close in range ..! Over all ... there are over 50 shark movie's that have been made since the 1960's.. this isn't a "Jaws".. but give the cast credit for seeing it through..

Halle is a Super Star Actress with out a Doubt No Question but the story was Obvious and the other characters/ acting was really a Snooze fest ...Basically without giving too much away..my summation is.. Her husband is a douch who uses her Fearless skills and ambition for his own financial gain and for whatever reason ( like most Narcissistic scammers) she hasn't a clue he's just using her, why would she..She's everything a RESPECTFUL guy could want..Anyway and a Rich guy apparently wants to swim with the sharks because that's on his Bucket list, and Rich guys spend $$ money doing Stupid things Most intelligent people don't do..anyway my take is since he likes to live dangerously Don't want to Spoil it...I guess everyone has to die someway right So if you could choose your way to leave this world, would it be as SHARK BAIT? And who cares who else dies in the Procces of you getting what you want..RIGHT??🤔

The characters were unrelatable, inconsistent, and unlikeable. So was the story actually. There were segments shot in the dark leaving viewers to piece together what happened from what they could hear (mostly a jumbled mess) and what happened in the aftermath of the black screen scenes. There was an entire part that just seemed to have accidentally ended up in this movie from some other shark movie's footage. The only clue that it's really part of the same movie is that it's shot in the dark and confusing as heck. It was unnecessary and didn't lead to anything later. Characters, while not really being well established, still managed to behave out of character and do things that made no sense for any human to do. There are way better bad movies out there, ones that are fun to watch. Choose one of those instead. This one has no entertainment value.

The audio on this movie was so bad we could not understand most of what was being said. At the end of the movie during the action scenes (which took place in the dark) you could not see ANYTHING! black blobs and flashes of light and splashes. Could not tell who or what was there or what was happening. But what made the movie... or at least this copy of the movie truly awful was the horrible audio!

The scene of Halle Berry's behavior when her customer dared come out of the cage was stupid. She was an idiot in this film. Way too reactionary and emotional. An unbelievable drama queen. She actually caused the drama she seemed to fear most. Anyone who would dive with her deserves to die. This film is a waste of time.

I'm a fan of Jaws, deep blue sea, and mega which are five stars in my book. I rate this second best so I rate it four stars. It's a good shark movie and well worth seeing. However I did step away a bit to clean house and keep up with the storyline. However it sounded like sheep knaaaaing in the background... I don't know what that was about but that was just weird maybe they were trying to make fake seal sounds? But when you watch the movie you don't pay attention to that kind of sound which is really weird. Since they haven't come out with us a five-star shark movie you should watch this one it's good

I was a little disappointed with this film. I usually like Halle Berry movies but felt she and the rest of cast over-acted their parts and didn't behave the way normal people would in this situation. Also, many of the scenes were so dark you couldn't tell what was going on. One scene in particular with the abalone poachers had no explanation or follow-up. I viewed it on Prime so I can't complain too much but all in all it wasn't one of Berry's best.
