Well!! about two years of here and there, I finally figured out the fastest fingers for my daughters. Her confidence in doing the job was showing how professional she is and must say her prices are lighter on pockets. if u want a hair cut for your children then this is the place
My daughter has brought my very nervous 2 1/2 year old grandson there several times and Vicky has been amazing every time. She's got great tricks to deal with anxious babies and the place is adorable and lots of fun for kids. Affordable, kind and loving service - it's everything I was hoping for and more in a kids' hairdresser and then some.
This place is ideal for children's haircuts. Located on Decarie between Queen Mary and Cote St Luc road, this salon features large toy cars in which the child can sit while getting their haircut. I took my 18 month old son there on a Saturday after having made an appointment. The owner welcomed us warmly and immediately started to offer my son toys and a lollipop. It is clear that she has a wealth of experience dealing with children who may be apprehensive about getting a haircut. She is gentle, efficient, quick, and above all good natured. It's almost as if she knows how your child will react better than you do! The salon also features a small slide and plenty of toys. At 20$ for a haircut, the price was reasonable given their expertise and setup. I was in and out of there in less than 15 minutes. I couldn't ask for a better experience.
I really love the aesthetics of the salon! Absolutely eye catching, my 2 year old daughter wanted to go in as soon as stepped out our car. Now, when I went in, we were the only ones there plus we had made an appointment. The lady commences to cut my daughter's hair but once two customers enters she basically called it quits and rushed. From the moment I stepped into the salon to the moment I left was probably a good 7 minutes. I like the layer attempt she made but I wanted a trim for her hair in the front. Not bangs and it's not even cute bangs, it's right out of Star Trek (Spock). This was her first haircut and I thought it would be cool to go to the "first children's salon in Canada" but a piercer at Adrenaline had more patience and care than this lady had towards my daughter. Also, when we entered; the same one at the reception was the one who cut her hair, mind you, there was no one there so she had time to go around cleaning if needs be. But when I went to place my daughter into the car, I, myself, had to dust off previous hair particles that had not been cleaned up. As if that wasn't bad enough the total was $24 and I wanted to the total to be $30 - so a $6 dollar tip. Basically a dollar a minute that I was there. I by mistake put a $30 tip so my total was $54 so she caught that too and gave me $20 back. Tipping herself $10 knowing I verbally told her I wanted to tip her $6. So that also really bugged me. It's not for the extra $4 she took but just the mannerism and principal. Needless to say, I need to take my daughter somewhere else to get it fixed and missed out on a potential great experience for us all.

Great place to take kids of all ages. They have been doing haircuts for children for awhile now. Always a good time for our little one and walk away with a prefect trim every time. Thanks Vicky!
I was in and out in under 30 min, only because we were in a hurry. Vicky was great! She worked fast paced but also made us feel welcome, like we could have stayed as long as we wanted. She knew how to handle my 20 month old, had realistic expectations, was friendly with my 3 year old daughter, and prepared a kid-friendly environment for us. The place was tidy and colorful. It helps to go on slow days!
My 2 sons love this place. Vicky has been doing their haircut for 6 years now. She is so professional and efficient that she can cut hair in less than 5 mins. Aside from the fact her salon gives out free lollipops which my kids loved as well.
While Vicky was very efficient and quick in her hair cutting and the cars etc were a great distraction for my 2 year old, stylist she is not. My son has thick hair and a few cowlicks and unless you want a typical short boys haircut (I wanted something a little longer and styled) this was not for us.
It's such a nice place! Vicky is a true professional who knows well how to work with kids. She did my son's first haircut and it was very good. The price was reasonable. We'll definitely be back.
