Typical fanservicy filler of a sorta-typical fanservicy sci-fan (science-fantasy) show. Except for one change:

The male lead (Akatsuki) is not on some sidelines pretending that he doesn't exist for the sake of the spineless male audience who wanna watch a show that's filled with nothing but cheesecake.

Not only that: He sometimes comes in to "help" the heroines. AND repels whatever comedic beatdown a male lead weaker than him would get.

BECAUSE. As per my usual arguments: Wapan's Animu Industry is a collective of unimaginative, spineless douche bags who'd rather cater to pedophiles and isolationists who still believe that Japan is the center of the world (and not
...
a participating part of it).

Their loss. Panty shots. Female flesh. And a guy herein who can handle it all without reacting horribly.

I'll keep this short, six 3-4 minute shorts. I will tell you what these shorts are about following with my episode ranking list in the end with some of my input. Also, this review will be less serious, because I don't think I really have to be serious when it comes to these types of shorts.

It is fanservice, nudity, lewd stuff, so if you don't like this kind of stuff, then you won't probably enjoy this.

1st episode is about Miu trying out different "battlesuits".

2nd episode will teach you how to become an adult anime woman.

3rd episode will reveal that some women need to pee very
...
often.

4th episode shows Miu, Kuzuha and Chikage in an open hot bath, they do some sexy stuff, then Akatsuki comes and does fatigue relief "stuff"...

5th episode is a slimy episode

6th episode is tentacles and "holy pose".

Now comes ranking from worst to best:
Decent:
Episode 5 - I guess it was okay fanservice.
Episode 4 - You don't hit women Akatsuki...
Episode 3 - I don't have any fetish for girl peeing, but I like Haruko's butt
Episode 6 - Highschool DxD tentacle special episode was better.
Episode 2 - Very educating indeed.

Good:
Episode 1 - Stepbrother fantasising whilst choosing "battlesuit".

Final rating is 6/10. Decent fanservice, but 3-4 minute shorts seems pretty cheap to me.

Ah, Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero, the anime that keeps on giving, fanservice included. The only reason these episodes have to exist is to provide fanservice, plain and simple. That said, are they good? Well, let's hope on and find out, shall we?

Story
There is no story! There are only random circumstances that place girls in uncomfortable situations just so that Akatsuki can take advantage of it and touch some breasts. Fanservice at its finest. At least the anime is self-aware enough to comment on the absurdity of these situations, but self-awareness is no excuse for mediocrity. (5/10)

Characters
Akatsuki is still a first-class pervert and the girls
...
are his unfortunate victims. If there is a chance for fanservice, our Rogue Hero will take it, no questions asked. That said, I do find it refreshing that Akatsuki normally avoids the punishment a male protagonist endures for a perverted situation. (6/10)

Art
Since the primary purpose of this anime is fanservice, the visuals must be of excellent quality and, suffice to say, they do not disappoint. (9/10)

Sound
Nobuhiko Okamoto clearly had fun voicing the perverted Akatsuki. He lacks the energy and cool attitude of Eric Vale, but he gets the job done. I don't have anything against Yoko Hikasa, but her attempts to voice Miu come off as forced and artificial, especially for the fanservice moments Miu is put through. I certainly prefer Felecia Angelle. On the other hand, I think Kana Hanazawa is a better fit for Kuzuha than Monica Rial, even if she is a bit more straight-faced than her peers. It feels refreshing to listen to Marina Inoue as the proud and haughty Haruka, the best character in the show, in my opinion, even if she is not given much to work with. She even reminds of Tsukiumi from Sekirei, another character voiced by Marina. Also, Rina Satou gets a role, which is fine, I guess. The voice actors don't get much to work with, but they get the job done. (9/10)

Enjoyment
Look, these episodes only exist to titillate male viewers. So, while I admit I felt titillated, fanservice alone should not carry an anime. These episodes do not advance the story nor develop the characters, they are just here for fanservice. (6/10)

Both series involve a group of characters in a fantasy world where there is comedy, drama, and action. The characters themselves possesses supernatural powers that allow them to fight par-to-par with various adversaries.

Both series' main protagonists is strong, independent, and is a boss.

Both series have various competitions that push various characters to be their best.

Both of them have strong smug protagonists. However Hagure is more ecchi then Mondaiji-tachi.

Overpowered protagonists that walk all over their enemies.

report

Both main characters travel to different worlds and are strong as fuck. Both main characters are badasses with good powers and a sense of humor. Both of these anime are good to watch, though Hagure is much more ecchi.

report

Both male MCs are very confident in their stregth, they are OP afterall, and they are perverted some times. The most enemies/villains are just side characters that make the MC seem even more powerful, there are only a handful enemies worth speaking about.

report

Recommended by iwsifakismag

Both MC are overpower.
Most girls in animes are around the MC.
The man has the lady.
There are girls that are OP too.

Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou add permalink

These anime are very similar in the sense of the fighting and the relationships they form.

report

The style of the plot is similar. Both are similars echis and the both main characters are totally "fackers"

Both series come with magic and the whole fantasy genre. Ichiban is more plot driven and doesn't emphasize on fan service nevertheless its there. There's actually development for the main character unlike Hagure Yuusha where he starts off as a powerhouse.

•Badass main character's.

•Both have demon's involved.

•Main characters attract bitche's.

•Fanservice, attractive females.

•In Hagure Yuusha no Aesthetica the main character steals lingerie.

•In Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou the main character destroys lingerie.

Both of these anime series have an immensely powerful MC that have trouble controlling their magical abilities at first in a school environment. A stigma is attached to them at school as dangerous and evil because of their strange behavioural patterns especially around females, however they are both kind in a sense and stick to their own beliefs with unyielding conviction.

Both series have a main character who has some kind of special ability to undress women; which leads to many ecchi situations.

The series have ecchi and uncensored boobs in common, but also have a lot of dissimilarities (for example: in Hagure Yuusha the MC is very badass, while in Highschool DxD the MC starts as a perverted loser). But if you enjoy watching ecchi and boobs you'll most likely enjoy watching both.

report

Both are ecchi action anime series with a perverted main character who have tons of girls in love with him. Both main characters are also total badasses.

There are at times, situations arises when the main characters were threatened by someone. But when the mission is complete, or sometimes get distracted, the main characters liked to troll around the female cast in either grabbing unpleasant spots, or taking their clothes off for their own methods. If you like a story with ecchi and supernatural action elements, then these shows will make your time enjoyable.

There is not much of a difference since both are know to have a significant amount of fan service, and ecchi. Well the only thing that is different is the main character where in DXD, he is not that overpowered with a childish personality, while Rogue Hero he is overpowered and with a mature look. read more

Hagure Yuusha no Estetica shares many similarities with High School DxD, such as the same ecchi/harem/highschool genres. They both are rom/coms based in a world of supernatural occurrences. Both main males leads are perverts but are good natured, and protect those around them.
Both of these series have a strength game involved - rating games
