Hafjell buying weed

My first challenge of the day was to find strength to leave the starting point. The Mageli Camping website shows some alternatives I had. Stay at the pool, hang around in an ice cream bar, rent a cabin to rest or play yatzy, …. It was a rainy day, and I managed to stick to my original plan. The staff were sorry for not being able to offer a proper pilgrim stamp for my pilgrim pass, but the company stamp was a satisfactory substitute. Security Warning! The Rolla Stone Bridge was taken out of service in August Here is the official pilgrim warning description. Luckily I passed the bridge before it was closed, so here are photos from the surroundings:. This is the downstream view from the centre of the bridge. Where are the cows hiding? Are they not water proof enough to be outside? Well, they might be at the summer farm in the mountains, of course. I am just checking if it is safe to jump or not. I hope to be contacted for a job in a commercial once. Does this one work well? If not, I can easily change it to:. As I said, I walked here on a rainy day. At some point I tried to hide inside a raincoat, but the view turned out like this:. Walk slow enough to remember to look back. Here I enjoyed quite fun fog patterns, changing for every stop:. Some crossings later I was happy that someone had thought of putting up an extra sign. It was not quite obvious that this was the correct turn:. Never mind. Soon forgotten. The next view was like taken out of a Norwegian fairy tale — The Nordrum Farm. The oldest building is from about the year And it turned out it contains a pilgrim hostel as well:. And if you plan a wedding, you can have the party at the upper floor to the left, and then spend the night in the little cabin up there, with a private open fireplace. You can even be tempted to rent this house for a night. I must have got a but dizzy up there. The next I noticed was that my vision got blury, like this:. Saved by Rotary — amazing! After I ran into this sign post and stared at their wheel for five minutes, my vision felt quite OK. Then I realized that I was standing at the highest point of the trail, with a hill fort nearby. So I studied the information signs and decided to take a detour. And look who had arrived there before me! Of course, as I had been staring at that wheel for so long…. Then we enjoyed the view together, and I was told an interesting Dutch story by Toon Tellegen about the squirrel and the ant. One morning the squirrel and the ant were walking through the forest. It was a beautiful day and they walked out of the forest, into the distance. The squirrel said nothing. He thought as deeply he could. What if I sat down, he thought, would the world become smaller again? And what if I sat down forever? He found that a complicated thought and decided he would just look around from now on. We sat on for a while. Then we decided to head for infinity though completing the last effort of the day; walk all the way to the hill top:. This view towards north is worth a photo or five. From here a pilgrim will be able to admire the stave church at Ringebu for the first time. But the bag was not too comfortable, so I switched to this brilliant viewpoint. It was a really suitable place for contemplation on infinity. Here, the very existence of stave churches was discussed. This one was first mentioned in the year , so even a V. At a time when both Shetland, the Faroe Islands, Iceland and Greenland were parts of the country and the black death pandemic was still about three generations ahead in time. Any hiker should plan a long stop here, as they offer both food, an art exhibition and a tiny museum shop. Our pilgrim leg ended here. He liked that word, indecision, but he could never really figure out what it meant exactly. Heave a sigh if you must. Stay at the pool, hang around in an ice cream bar, rent a cabin to rest or play yatzy, … It was a rainy day, and I managed to stick to my original plan. I enjoyed the sound of the waterfall for five minutes. Ten minutes later I was still around… At last I managed to turn around to admire the bridge. And the farmhouse looks as if the farmer is rich too. Looking back, you can nearly see Mageli camping behind that bend on the main road: This road was more of a main road in former days than today: Old buildings meet new ones. If this was a pilgrim shelter, I would definitely have spent a night there! The colour green is versatile. Thank you, Sjoukje. Meals matter, I have heard said! Next: A cosy pilgrim shelter for two persons. It will give you the proper feeling of the year , about. Next to the shelter there is a pilgrim chapel inside an old outbuilding. At some point I tried to hide inside a raincoat, but the view turned out like this: So I changed my mind. I got out of the rain gear just in time to spot this signpost: The details were interesting. They tell about protection of a forest area. Well — time to move on: Walk slow enough to remember to look back. Here I enjoyed quite fun fog patterns, changing for every stop: Some crossings later I was happy that someone had thought of putting up an extra sign. It was not quite obvious that this was the correct turn: You get directly from weed to harmony: But for me it lasted only for a few meters. Signs of a recent storm came up: Looking back: And looking forward, from the same spot: Never mind. And it turned out it contains a pilgrim hostel as well: You can rent the upper floor in this building: And if you plan a wedding, you can have the party at the upper floor to the left, and then spend the night in the little cabin up there, with a private open fireplace. Then you get hold of some friends and continue walking: I must have got a but dizzy up there. The next I noticed was that my vision got blury, like this: Then it got worse: And at this point I had to sit down! Slowly the colors normalized, but I was still worried: Saved by Rotary — amazing! Of course, as I had been staring at that wheel for so long… I ran down to greet them, and got a hug and a Dutch biscuit. Then we decided to head for infinity though completing the last effort of the day; walk all the way to the hill top: Here it is, with a brave American on top of it! That does not happen every day, I guess. Even another American had conquered the top: This view towards north is worth a photo or five. I got inspired by this sight — — so I sat down and leaned back myself: But the bag was not too comfortable, so I switched to this brilliant viewpoint. Later we moved downhill, with a hope for waffles in our heads. In other words — we walked quickly! But high speed is no reason to forget to admire local details: Here, the very existence of stave churches was discussed. Not to mention their splendid garden! There's obviously something that he feels he needs to do and I wish him good luck. He will need it with those bikes! Yeah, I could relate to it from Josh's side. I don't agree with it, but I do relate to it. I think that injury in Hafjell really set him back a bit. It put him off a little bit and although he came back really strong that next year and had quite a good year, I think he didn't like the speed that he had to ride at on the tracks to try and do well. I think that was a massive thing, the tracks really forced him to fall out of love with downhill, he's a proper technical rider and loves riding all that tight and techy stuff. Tracks are just not like that anymore, so I think that was a major part in his decision Aug 24, 5, 5, Australia. I loved the digs at Cannondale. Seems Peaty is a Syndicate man through and through. Jun 22, 1, I enjoyed the interview. I really feel for Steve and roskopp. Have found some of the reasoning behind the Bryceland to Cannondale tenuous at best. Seems a bit of a cop out. But it smells like shit to me. Jul 22, 1, Screw this. Hit Vital for the podcast with Nathan Rennie, which is the story we really care about.
