HabitNow - Privacy Policy

HabitNow (“HabitNow,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a habit-tracking application developed by Firdavs. This Privacy Policy explains how HabitNow handles information when you use the app.

Information We Handle

HabitNow may handle the following information:

• Habit names, schedules, completion history, notes, statistics, and streaks.
• Profile information you choose to provide, such as your name, username, avatar, and avatar color.
• Achievement progress, XP, settings, reminder preferences, and app preferences.
• An app-specific device identifier used to associate optional cloud synchronization with your device.
• Information required to submit feedback or interact with leaderboard features.

Most information is stored locally on your device.

Cloud Synchronization

HabitNow is designed to work offline. If cloud synchronization is enabled and the service is available, HabitNow may upload and download your app data to synchronize your progress between sessions.

Synchronized data may include your habit data, completion history, profile information, achievements, settings, and app-specific device identifier.

HabitNow does not require you to create an account. Email and password fields displayed in the app are not currently used for authentication and are not stored as account credentials.

Notifications

If you grant permission, HabitNow may schedule local notifications for habit reminders. These notifications are scheduled and delivered by your device. HabitNow does not use remote push notifications for habit reminders.

You can disable notification permission at any time through your device settings.

Tracking and Advertising

HabitNow:

• Does not display third-party advertising.
• Does not use your data for targeted advertising.
• Does not sell your personal information.
• Does not use Apple’s advertising identifier for tracking.
• Does not use cross-app or cross-website tracking technologies.

Data Sharing

HabitNow does not sell or rent your personal information.

Information is shared only when necessary to provide optional cloud synchronization, leaderboard functionality, feedback functionality, or other features you explicitly use. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of HabitNow or its users.

Data Retention and Deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete it within HabitNow, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app.

If cloud synchronization is used, synchronized data may remain on the HabitNow backend until it is deleted or removed according to the applicable service process. To request deletion of cloud-associated information, contact us at:

Please include your HabitNow username or device identifier where available. We may need to verify the request before processing it.

Children’s Privacy

HabitNow is not directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by HabitNow. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when HabitNow’s features or data practices change. The updated version will include a new effective date and will be made available through the location where this policy is published.
