HP Officejet Pro 6968 is a multifunction color printer having printing, copying, scanning, and faxing functions. It is used for home and small office to industrial. These printers provide low cost per page with high-quality prints. It is modern technology, has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and supports mobile printing technology. Having yellow, magenta, Cyan, and black ink tanks. This can print documents and photos directly by a USB drive. It has fax features with auto reduction, automatic redialing, and fax forwarding.

Unbox and initialize the HP Officejet Pro 6968:

• First, unbox the 123.hp.com/setup 6968 carefully from the packing box. You will get an installation CD and the same can also be downloaded by visiting the official site. And there are set-up posters, having basic setup instructions, Get Started Guide, caution flyer, ink cartridges set, power cord, and fax cord.
• Now place the printer on a plain surface. Now carefully remove all the packing materials that came with the printer and that is recyclable. like blue tape around it and slide out the input tray, also remove any packing materials inside it and set the input tray.
• Remove all clear plastic from the reflective surfaces and then lift the scanner lid you may find a Styrofoam sheet inside the scanner bed. Now pull out the power cord and plug it into the printer power cord and to the power outlet. Then Switch on the printer. The printer takes little time to get initialized from the printer control panel then you have to finalize the date, time, country, and language.

HP Officejet Pro 6968 printer setup:

• The printer will prompt you to install the ink cartridges, open the ink cartridge access door and wait for the carriage to come to the ink access area.
• Take out the ink cartridge set having care of the color in the cartridges as well the slot to insert the ink cartridges respectively.
• Before inserting the cartridge, pull out the orange tape around the cartridges. Note- Do not touch those copper contacts which may damage the ink flow.
• Now close the ink cartridge access door to the printer and select OK in the printer display. Now the printer will prompt you to install paper.
• Lift the output tray and slide out the input tray to adjust the paper width and load suitable plain paper and select OK in the printer display.
• Also slide out the output tray, the printer prints the alignment page after aligning the print head.
• Now open the scanner lid and place the printed alignment page with the downside following the markings on the scanner lid to properly place the alignment page.
• After that Select scan in the display, after scanning and aligning the print head a success message displays.

Network connection by Wireless Setup Wizard:

• Windows wireless setup
• First, connect the printer to the wireless network and download the printer software and driver from the official site.
• Switch ON the router and computer. Select the network name and network password. 
• At the printer control panel, Select by touch the wireless icon and then set up the Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer screen.

Choose network name from the list and enter your network password and select Done. If your network name is not listed select Enter New Network Name and enter your name and touch on OK.
