HOW WE CHOSE THE WINNER

The first Twitter giveaway is over — results for other giveaways will come in hot soon. We really went hard on transparency & fair chances on this one. Watch the moves!

First, we retrieved all the replies to the Twitter thread and saved them to a json file. Of course, we needed to disqualify all those who didn't fulfill the conditions — and we did exactly that.

We checked for the answer — the main condition for participation — by going through all the replies and finding those that contained both "solar" and "lunar" in the text.

Then we went through all the other conditions, excluding those who didn't complete the task, — it didn't change much though. Now it was all ready for the final moment of truth — a pinch of python and here's the winner in the console window.
