Housefull (2010 film)Housefull is a 2010 Indian Hindi language comedy drama film directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, The dialogues were written by Anvita Dutt while Nadiadwala wrote the storyline and Rameshwar S. Bhagat served as the editor. It became the first installment of the Housefull franchise. It was loosely remade from the 1998 Tamil film Kaathala Kaathala. The film stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, Lara Dutta, Deepika Padukone and Jiah Khan. The supporting cast consists of Boman Irani, Chunky Pandey, Randhir Kapoor, Lillete Dubey and Malaika Arora, with Jacqueline Fernandez featured in an item number. It was shot across London and Italy on a budget of ₹30 crore (US$3.5 million). The film marked the last screen appearance of Khan, who died three years after its release on 3 June 2013. The film was released worldwide on April 30, 2010, to mixed critical reviews, on over 750 screens in India. Nevertheless, it proved to be a commercial success. The film grossed over ₹124.50 crore (US$15 million) at the worldwide box office and was declared a super hit. It emerged as the fifth highest-earning Bollywood film of 2010 only behind Dabangg, Golmaal 3, Raajneeti and My Name Is Khan according to its net collections of ₹75 crore (US$8.9 million) domestically. The film went on to spawn three spiritual sequels–Housefull 2, Housefull 3 and Housefull 4–released in 2012, 2016 and 2019 respectively. A fifth film titled Housefull 5 with two prints Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B was released on 6 June 2025.
Nargis FakhriNargis Fakhri is an American actress who primarily works in Hindi-language films of India. After working as a model in America, Fakhri came to prominence in India with the 2011 romantic drama film Rockstar. She subsequently played a war correspondent in the political thriller Madras Cafe (2013), and starred in the commercially successful comedies Main Tera Hero (2014) and Housefull 3 (2016). She has also featured in the Hollywood action comedy Spy (2015).
Housefull 2Housefull 2, sometimes called Housefull 2: The Dirty Dozen, is a 2012 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film written and directed by Sajid Khan. Brothers Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji co-wrote the film under their duo Sajid-Farhad, on a story by Sajid Nadiadwala. Produced by Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and distributed by Eros International, it is the second installment of the Housefull franchise, a standalone sequel to Housefull (2010), and also an uncredited remake of the 1998 Malayalam film Mattupetti Machan. Housefull 2 contains a large ensemble cast starring Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Akshay Kumar, Asin, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Zareen Khan, Chunky Panday, Shazahn Padamsee and Boman Irani. Housefull 2 was released theatrically on 5 April 2012, to a mixed reception. Made on a budget of ₹60–64 crore, the film accumulated ₹186 crore (US$22 million) worldwide, becoming one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2012. It was followed by two sequels: Housefull 3 and Housefull 4 which were released in 2016 and 2019 respectively. A fifth film titled Housefull 5 with two prints Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B was released on 6 June 2025.

The film is the third installment of the Housefull series. It stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon, Chunky Panday and Jackie Shroff. The film was released on 3 June 2016 and became commercially successful grossing ₹195 crore worldwide. A sequel to the film, entitled Housefull 4, due to it being the fourth installment of Housefull series, was released on 25 October 2019. A fifth film titled Housefull 5 with two prints Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B was released on 6 June 2025.

However, the theme and the pace remains the same. Despite a generally mixed-negative critical reception, the series has been commercially successful, grossing over ₹800 crore worldwide. It is currently the highest-grossing comedy franchise in Indian cinema, as well as one of the highest-grossing Indian film series of all time in general.
Housefull 4Housefull 4 is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language fantasy action comedy film directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios. The film is the fourth installment of the Housefull series, and stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead roles. The plot deals with reincarnation. Three brothers are set to marry three sisters. However, a peek into the distant past reveals to one of the brothers that their brides have been mixed up in their current reincarnation. The film was half directed by Sajid Khan, who had also directed the first two installments, but was replaced by Farhad Samji midway during the shooting due to Me Too allegations. Nadiadwala claimed the film to be the highest-budgeted Indian comedy film. The film was theatrically released in India on 25 October 2019 during the occasion of Diwali and received mixed to negative reviews. The film became a major commercial success by grossing almost 300 crore worldwide. It went on to become the 7th highest grosser of 2019. A sequel, entitled Housefull 5 with two prints, Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B was released on 6 June 2025.
Housefull 5Housefull 5 is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language comedy thriller film co-written and directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala and Firuzi Khan under production banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. It marks the fifth instalment of the Housefull franchise. The film features an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer and Johnny Lever. There are two different prints of the film, each with a different climax sequence, released namely Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B.
