Description

HK Mark 23 , HK Mark 23 For Sale

The HK Mark 23 Caliber.45 ACP pistol provides shooters with match-grade accuracy comparable to that of the best bespoke handguns while exceeding the most demanding operational specifications ever placed on a combat weapon. The HK Mark 23 for sale offers this accuracy without requiring the hand-fitted components typical of specialized match pistols, which cost thousands more. The MK23/Mark 23 project, which resulted in one of the most extensively tested handguns in history, was started in 1991 by HK for the U.S. Special Operations Command, which oversees the actions of America’s most elite military groups, such as the Navy SEALs and the Army Special Forces. The first HK MK 23 pistols were handed to the U.S. Special Operations Command on May 1, 1996, for use in combat.

Service life of over 30,000 rounds of +P ammo was shown via endurance testing. To satisfy the dependability criterion, the pistol must exhibit a minimum of 2,000 mean rounds between stoppages (MRBS) with an M1911 ball and +P ammunition. All pistols had an average MRBS of 6000, above the 2000 MRBS. The MK 23 pistols significantly outperformed the government requirement in more than 450 accuracy test firings from a precision firing fixture at 25 meters, averaging 1.44 inches, with 65 groups of less than one inch. Five bullets passed through the same hole in four groups, 5 inches each.
