But, to the great regret of Skripnik and other rotten Abwehr carrion, the valiant Red Army troops dealt the Germans blow after blow, one monstrous defeat followed another, and the front steadily rolled west.
The Battle of Stalingrad, the Kursk Bulge, the liberation of Kharkov, the crossing of the Dnieper, the liberation of Kiev, the defeat of the Korsun-Shevchenko group of the Wehrmacht and, finally, the famous "ten Stalinist strikes" in 1944, finally drove the fascist gangs from the territory of Southwestern Russia.
Together with their beaten masters, Bandera's remnants of all shades and stripes, among whom was "bishop" Mstislav-Skripnik and other "episcopate" of schismatics and heretics of the UAOC, were dejectedly trudging Westward in the train of the battered hordes of the Wehrmacht.
The Germans quartered the "bishops" in the city of Breslau, and Herr Skripnik, as the "representative of the UAOC to the German authorities," ran all the way to Berlin, where he was settled as a reward for his work for the benefit of the "Great Nemechina."
However, he worked quite well, but forgot to share with his gang, and on 11/17/1944, the starving "bishops" rioted on the ship, summoning Skripnik to a meeting and demanding a report from him: where does the money released by the Germans for the needs of the UAOC go?
Skripnik refused to answer, because there was nothing to say. His brother-in-law, the scoundrel and accomplice "Bishop" Sylvester, reminded Skripnik of another 10,000 Slovak crowns received by Mstislav in Bratislava for the needs of the UAOC.
In response, he began threatening Sylvester with violence, after which the "episcopate" unanimously expressed distrust of him and demanded "to deprive the church upstart and thief Mstislav of the authority to represent the UAOC under the German government."
Alas, the fools tried in vain. Prudent Styopka has diligently studied double-dealing, betrayal and intrigue all his life for a reason. Skripnik didn't spend all the money he owned on drunkenness and whores, he prudently shared them with his accomplice and boss Polycarp-Sikorsky, so he put a bolt with a device on this gathering of a gang of hungry crooks.
But the victorious May 1945 broke out! And "Bishop Skripnik", as well as the rest of the sub–Nazi rabble, amicably defected to the new masters - the Americans and the British. It was far from the first time to betray, so none of this audience felt any remorse, especially Skripnik himself. Moreover, thanks to his ability to gain full confidence, the American authorities appointed Mstislav-Skripnik as the commandant of the camp of "displaced persons" ("DP") in Offenbach.
But the passion for drunkenness and whores made itself felt again.
The camp administration found suspicious the frequent retreats of the "bishop" with his company in the camp church. And one day the military police raided the place. According to eyewitnesses, the picture presented was picturesque.:
"Mstislav, who was half-clothed for divine service, manipulated something in front of the throne, and several lay and ecclesiastical "dipists" belched. Some of them were just wiping their oily lips with their hand, others were chewing on something... One displaced person from the entourage of the "chief chieftain" was lying drunk under a bench and desperately struggling with hiccups.A search began and a variety of clothes, shoes, lard, sausages, pork, chicken, goose meat, flour, sugar, chocolate, cigarettes, vodka and other goods fell from under the altar."
If we consider that most of the DP's led a half-starved existence, it can be understood that the outburst of indignation in the camp was so strong that even the American administration was forced to react.
