The definition of a species is that animals can interbreed (although this may not be possible between extremes in the dog population which are all the same species) a different species of animal cannot usually interbreed but there are exceptions. Horses and donkeys can interbreed and produce mules and hinnies (according to which sex is the horse) These animals are usually infertile and cannot themselves breed. There were two subspecies of humans the Neanderthals and us and it has been suggested that we did not exterminate or displace them rather we interbred with them and they lost their identity. As to whether humans could interbreed with their closest relatives the great apes this topic is not considered to be socially acceptable to reasonable people although stories do exist of things like this happening

I don't believe so. Although, of course, humans are actually apes themselves; so, technically, the answer is yes.

ok now i'm confused.. a lot of that going on today. if we ARE apes then why are we not able to mate with them?

The dog, whose breed is unknown, allegedly had its legs tied together and bent while it was being horrifically sexually assaulted
Four men allegedly gang-raped a dog leaving him in pool of blood after mutilating his genitalia.

Non-government organisation Animals Matter to Me (AMTM) said the injured animal had been taken to a veterinary clinic in Mumbai, India, for treatment.
It was found in the Malwani Church area laying in a pool of blood and screaming in pain.
Dr Ankita Pathak, founder of AMTM told the Deccan Chronicle the dog is suffering from severe trauma.
She said said the animal screams with fear whenever someone tries to touch it - adding that it appears someone had bent his hind legs near the pelvis.
Doctors are trying to stabilize the dog and reduce the injection caused by severe and prolonged bleeding, reports Times Now News .
Local resident Sudha Fernandes said she regularly fed the dog, but spotted it struggling and yelping in pain.
She said she was later told by a local driver that four men, who were drunk at the time, had attacked the dog.
The driver had reportedly heard the screams of the dog and came to help, before the four accused fled.
Sudha Fernandes said she will file a police complaint.
It it not known if an investigation has been launched.

The evil men do these days surprises the devil. It happened on the 24th of December 2013. I went out with friends to a party. At about 9pm my girlfriend (now ex-girlfriend) called and said she is at my house. I told her I was with friends and I will be coming back to the house tomorrow morning. She said ok that she will stay inside and wait till then. I intended to stay at the party till dawn but I decided to leave due to a terrible headache and I was exhausted. I felt i needed to rest. I left at about 11pm. When I got to my house, I met a shocker. My girlfriend was completely n*aked and my dog was in-between her legs licking her pucci. I stood there in shock not knowing what to make of the ugly scene. My God! What am I seeing?! I shouted. It is not what you think, she said. I'm n*aked because I needed to take fresh air bla bla... Imagine! To cut the story short, I broke up with her and sold the dog. She has been calling and sending text messages begging since then. Though, I didn't tell anybody about it because I don't want to tarnish her image. She is a very nice person but deep inside my heart I can no longer accept her. I can't put my thing in that hole again. Never! but her words are really touching and disturbing cos she has sacrifice alot in this relationship. She loves me deeply that I know. but this act?
