Guitar Tuner for Wear OS — Privacy Policy

Guitar Tuner for Wear OS — Privacy Policy

UnityBars

Effective date: August 14, 2026

This privacy policy applies to the Guitar Tuner application for Wear OS (package name: com.guitar.tabsreaderpro.wear), available on Google Play.

The short version: this app does not collect, store, or share any personal data. It has no internet access and is technically incapable of sending anything anywhere.

Microphone. The app requests the microphone permission (RECORD_AUDIO) for exactly one purpose: detecting the pitch of the string you play, so the tuner can show how far it is from the target note. Audio is analysed in real time, entirely on your watch, in memory only. It is never recorded to storage, never saved as a file, and never leaves the device. When the app is closed, backgrounded, or the screen switches to always-on mode, the microphone is released.

Data collection. None. The app contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting, no user accounts, and no identifiers. We do not collect usage statistics of any kind.

Network access. The app does not request the internet permission. It cannot transmit data even in principle.

Local settings. Your selected tuning preset (for example Standard or Drop D) is stored locally on the watch so the app remembers it between launches. This setting never leaves the device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Third parties. No data is shared with third parties, because no data is collected in the first place.

Children. The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes. If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be published at this same address, with a new effective date.

Contact. If you have any questions about this privacy policy, please contact us through the app's Google Play listing page.
