Guide for Audio Mods

Many of you know that the audio quality we get on AOSP roms is far inferior to that we get on MIUI by default. This guide is for those geeks to allow them to fine-tune the audio output using mods made by the wonderful community. So lets start.

NOTE: I take no responsibility of any damage caused to you physically, mentally etc. If you point your finger at me, I will simply laught at you.

Setting up the device (Removing volume listener library)

1. Goto Magisk Manager > Downloads > and search for Audio Compatibility Patch.
2. Install Audio Compatibility Patch and follow the steps below:

→Skip audio_policy patching > yes

→Skip notification helper remover > no (Remove volume listener library)

→Skip usb policy patching for usb dacs > yes (Select "no" if you use usb dacs)

→Use lib workaround > no

Installing Viper4Android on AOSP roms:

1. Install V4A from here or here.
2. Open installed app.
3. App will ask for installing drivers and superuser permission. Allow both permissions.
4. Phone will reboot automatically.
5. And boom.... V4A installed successfully.

Note: If you get "Enabled: Yes" and "Processing: No" then flash Audio Modification Library from Magisk Manager.

Installing Viper4Android on MIUI based roms:

Note: MIUI doesn't need Audio Compatibility Patch (As tested the last time. If you face cracking notification sounds then flash it later after V4A is installed).

1. Make sure no audio mods are installed.
2. Install V4A from here or here. Do not install drivers. And minimize the app.
3. Install Audio Modification Library from magisk manager. Dont reboot yet.
4. Open V4A and install drivers. It will reboot automatically.
5. Now goto Magisk Manager > Modules and "unload" Audio Modification Library (dont delete/uninstall). Don't reboot yet.
6. Now again open V4A and install drivers. It will reboot automatically.
7. Open V4A and install drivers again. Let the phone reboot.
8. Now goto Magisk Manager > Modules and "load" Audio Modification Library.
9. Now reboot phone. And boom.... V4A installed successfully.

Installing Ainur Narsil on AOSP based roms:

Note: It may or may-not work on MIUI based roms.

1. Download Ainur Narsil from here.
2. Extract narsil_useroptions to /sdcard.
3. Open narsil_useroptions as text file and set DIRAC_KEEPEFF=true and save the file.
4. Flash Ainur Narsil zip in Magisk Manager.
5. Reboot....Done :D

Installing and Using Other Audio Mods Alongside Ainur Audio Mods or Multiple Mods Together:

1. Flash Audio Modification Library from magisk repo (Magisk Download section).
2. Flash your desired audio mods.
