It's my favorite scent. It's great!!~~ : )

Old perfume, little strong for me, was not able to return it so I am stuck with it. Oh well live and learn! If you like strong perfume this is for you! I can’t use it.

I absolutely LOVE this scent! Im very very picky about parfumes & this one really made the mark for me! Thank you.

Bought this perfume in France. I loved it. Luckily I found it on Amazon. It has a lovely scent, more oriental than light and flowery.

HORRIBLE !!! Smells nothing like described and smells like bug spray !!

I odered this item understanding it was pittite robe noire perfum. It turns out its eau de perfume intense. I would not of purchased this as a gift if id known . As normal eau de perfume would of been the normal purchase. Missleading product discription.

It's the right fragrance

Profumo inconsistente

Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum Intense New Fragrances
It's a flanker of a flanker of a flanker of a... It's like Inception haha.
So this is just a rebottle of the Intense flanker in the blue bottle from a few years ago? So confused.. Why?
I agree with anyone who dislikes the black void disc-head woman in the ad copy for these fragrances! It's both creepy and lazy.
DT953, lol yes sometimes a horse is a horse and a dress is only a dress but demonic bunnies are always fun!
I own and love the original eau de parfum.
The cherry and almond notes are very addictive to me. 🥰
The first photo in this article gave me Tim Burton "light" vibes, lol. I'm intrigued enough by the notes to sample this intense version. I only own one LPRN, Black Perfecto, which I blind bought after some research. Luckily, I don't have childhood traumatic associations to cherry cough syrup with the cherry note in LPRN BP. I do like BP very much, I bought a small back up bottle, something I rarely do. If I find I like a fragrance, I try to limit myself to one flanker in any given line.
All we get from designer houses anymore are flankers, flankers and more flankers! It's so boring!
Cotton candy note took me by surprise because it seems so juvenile for Guerlain. Maybe it's just me ? I am interested in trying though!
I wouldn't mind to try it. I own a few LPRN fragrances, so I am ok with new releases. Hope this one is good.
Don't see anything "demonic" about the dress image but its off-center location on the bottle is what makes it a bit weird.
Same juice as the one in the blue bottle,I think it is about time for a new fragrance all together LPRN is not even that popular anyway
Blake.lee I can sort of see that! Frankly, I'm surprised no attention has been drawn to the horse. I remember that the Denver Airport horse was all people could talk about a few years ago and it looks fairly similar to the one in this campaign. (sometimes a horse is a horse, of course though)
I don't have anything against them, but these LPRN flankers seem like trolling at this point haha. Also, I never actually smell this line on people and it doesn't seem to be that popular (compared to Mon Guerlain) for instance, so I'm really surprised that there are so many.
LPRN Black Perfecto, Insolence & Mon Guerlain Intense are my loves from this house so far. Let's "bury" this LPRN line & explore an [affordable] Mon Guerlain AMBER (INTENSE, of course!). C'mon, Guerlain. YOU CAN DO IT! pretty please.
LPRN my signature, I love all of them, can't get enough of them so I am happy to see this :)
Dear Guerlain, stop it already with LPRN flankers!
It’s time to release a new pillar fragrance, for both women and men! It’s been 5 years since Mon Guerlain and 8 years since L’Homme Ideal release!
IT’S TIME!
Your fans are starving, and hope to finally get something new!!!
I see Guerlain continues on with the LPRN torture....
DT953, if I squint I can sort of see a demonic bunny rabbit. If I turn it a little to the right, then I see an eagle swooping down in a dive, probably to catch the demonic bunny.
Aland2020 People are just saying "demonic" nowadays aren't they? That bottle is fine 😂
I worship the house of Guerlain, however, every La Petite Robe Noir I’ve tried is downright ghastly.
I got LPRN Rose Rose Rose blindly and I loved it. I didn't buy nectar. I have the intense version in the blue bottle and I love it. I have to repeat to myself...I don't think I need this...I don't need this...I don't need this...
I will at least sample it.
They have some stock of bottles left and some other stock of leftover ingredients, that's the most logical explanation to me. They should call it LPRN Zero Waste.
Sounds, frankly way too sweet for me, but what happened to LPRN Rose Rose Rose that was basically here, never here, and gone???
Does that shadow lady not freak anyone else out? Looks kinda demonic to me but then with all the pink fluff everywhere it looks like it could be a scene from a Powerpuff girls episode. I wish they’d kept the old blue packaging but I guess they’ll cut production costs wherever they can.
I have 2 from this line. The Black Perfecto and the Hippy Chick flankers. They are both really nice perfumes but the I agree w/ @SwedishMilk15 the Black Perfecto is the best and it is good for lasting. Great Date night fragrance. I do think if you have 1 or 2 from this line that is all you will need. There are getting to be way too many flankers and it gets a bit confusing.
For me, nothing can touch Black Perfecto in the LPRN line. The leather and licorice take it to another level.
There's enough confusion. If this is the same as the original LPRN Intense (all accounts are that it is), a different colored bottle with the same dress as the Nectar version is even more confusing for this line of flankers. And I say that as a fan of the line.
The same old blue intense from 2016

Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum Intense
Fort & Manle Maduro by
Miracle.Fragrance
very nice classic cologne that projects and makes a statement. The only issue with it that it is although unique but very known, if you wear many people will know you are wearing fahrenheit.
Oh darn. This is unexpectedly good. Resins, smoke, patchouli but most of all - with a strong aquatic feel that somehow is quietly reminiscent of salty algea you pick up while walking along the ocean shore. It's not photorealistic or anything, but an artistic interpretation of that idea -...
A fragrance for a man. Great barbershop soapy scent. i wear this so often even to office but I go easy on the trigger. It feels great.
I got a sample and I tested it in my hand but at the opening I was surprised by the smell of animal dung, beautiful juicy pineapple but bad when mixed with dust in animal cages. oh man.. i get some water and wash my hands.
I can't tell you how this smells like because I am a lady and ladies don't talk like that, but girls, gotta tell you, forget all of your gourmand sweet or sexy amber vanilla fragrances whatever you think is sexy...men go crazy over this. I don't know if it's my skin chemistry...
I was looking for my entrance level oud fragrance and of course i looked into arabian perfumes. I chose Raghba since the notes and reviews suggested that this would be a vanilla with some oud, not oud with some vanilla. I don't really have a chance to test these perfumes so i just go for the...
Really like the scent, but it gives me major headaches.
Citrus explosion, with a little bit of aftershave cold, yet moderately sweet and fruity. Positive but elegant.
This is the type of fragrance that can be worn all year day or night. It's sweet but not gourmand. The raspberry, jasmine, heliotrope and vanilla/crème brûlée stand out the most for me. But there is the coffee note in the background that's a nice addition. It has a powdery feel to it...
Is the made in france really bad, i have the made in england version and loved it so much, the scent, longevity and projection absolutely a beast, 20+ hours on my skin. I intend to buy a new bottle cause i loved it so much but it's all made in france and i haven't have a chance to try...
Wow this is some powerful stuff right here . Strong warm spicy sweet goodnes . to me i feel it is unisex. i totaly get what people sy it leans masculin , But its so on the edge that im saying unisex if you like abit of spice and warmth .Its not a typical floral or sweet female kind of scent .but...
This is one of my favorite fragrances to wear and one I reach for out of my 100’s of bottles. It’s a soapy ambery orange blossom is the best way so can describe it. My wife who is a tough critic adores this one and I can’t blame her. It smells of quality and very enjoyable to anyone around you...
Okay, the first time I tried this perfume, I was blown away. In the opening, it's bursting with juicyness- perhaps the pear. Then it becomes a bit more like the original Idole. Then it dries down to a buttery caramelly vanilla scent that is absolutely to die for. I never get excited about...
First time I smelled this made me think of Stronger with you line. Sweet, spicy a little boozy and some musky notes. I get some strong coconut note in this. Performance is awesome, easily 9 hours with 8 sprays. A bit too much, I'll go less next time.
Great read, wondering what happened to them! I really love this house. I have the OG’s Perla and Cara which are beautiful. I will have to try the newest fragrance very soon.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again - the man is handsome. Great Q and A Patric. But when AG mentioned his wife, a little part of me died. Hahaaahha. Nah, good for her - she's a lucky woman. And as for perfume being 'vital' I'd have to agree totally.
Chergui de Lutens y L'heure bleu de Guerlain
I have never put my nose on a single fragrance featured in this video, and am familiar with just a few of the brands (Nishane, Byredo, Carner Barcelona, and I think I've heard of 4160 Tuesdays). So a niche list for the most part at least. My autumn oriented collection is a mixture of...
Missed it, after looking at the site every day for weeks. Not paying $250 on eBay or Mercari. Oh well. Maybe next year. ETA added myself to the notification list in case the tonka version comes back in stock but am doubtful that Guerlain will make more available.
I hate to critique these types of articles, because not only are they interesting, they're fun to read and are very informative. First of all, I need to critique your use of the word "redolent". "Reminiscent of" or "akin to" would be more appropriate or commonly...
I second pacific rock moss but also will add sel de argent by BDK which I like even more than PRM…. The dry downs are very similar, but PRM has a bit more floral in the dry down and more citrus in the opening…. I much prefer the experience of SDA.
Don't want this but I'm considering Eau du Space/Luna again.
I have always loved Yves Rocher fragrances and products. Great article!
My first ever Amouage scent was Jubilation XXV, and I fell in love with it. Chong brought Amouage into the spotlight and made them a giant in the luxury fragrance game.
I love honey notes, despite the sticky sweetness of honey itself, I generally find the note a more subtle and complex base for gourmands than the typical sugar-esq sweetness of most things marketed to the teen and 20 something population (which, no judgement, I'm a fan of photorealistic...
I guess I'm a sentimentalist, but Annick Goutal - the brand - was quite dear to my heart. I purchased Gardenia Passion at her perfumery in Paris decades ago and fell in love. I have a few in my collection today, but I have to admit that the new bottles leave me cold. I understand how and why...
Your lovely essay made me eager to try L'Heure Bleue, which has quickly become one of my favorite fragrances. (And I'm a man in his late 60s.) And I love that the first Paris photo you posted is of one of my favorite corners in that city, right in front of the Café St-Régis, on the Île...
Despite of the tacky bottle and the ridiculous ad, the perfume notes sound promising.
Like rickyrebarco says; ´I hope to try the new parfum version in the 'regular' bottle for us plebeians´ I´d be more than happy. Don´t care for this ´Maisons d’art coffret´, I think it´s an ugly thing, that´s going to collect dust...
Did they reformulate this and remove all the bubblegum sweetness referred to in this initial impression? Because this smells just like a 1950’s soapy barbershop vetiver. It’s derivative, just not of Invictus. I’m 90% certain this scent was used in an old shaving cream.
I am waiting for my sample set so excited.
This one has gotten too much hype recently, in the community and from social media influencers. I finally got a big bottle of the Moustache EDP and I have to say, it's a bit overrated. It's not bad at all...a sweet vanilla/amber fragrance that could be unisex and works well in the...
@Siv777 - Shamen have been around since time immemorial, throughout the world; most if not all indigenous peoples throughout history have had their own version of wise men and women/healers/witches/shamen, communicating with the spirit world through, for instance, mushrooms. The Sami across...
